Battered Hilt [Frost Mage]

Hello people of MMOwned!

[Before i start to type my guide, i am fully aware that there are several guides on how to farm Battered Hilt but they are only showing the way to AoE the Skeletal Slaves, but since a blue post said that the Battered Hilt has been removed from them, they are of no use now. No offence]

So, lets get going!

As said, the skeletal slaves are no longer any use, so I found a new way to get the battered hilt! This is totally based on your 'skills' to kite ...

There are EIGHT spawns that i know from now, so i'll explain those.

(Also, before you start - get the glyph : "Glyph of Eternal Water" - Allows your water elemental to be out all the time, but removes the freeze, and also, don't use the glyph that removes Frost Bolts slowing effect!)

[Be careful when pulling those and always hold an eye on the Deathwhisper Necrolyte's]

Actually, the order isn't that carefully, just be sure to avoid the Deathwhisper Necrolyte's.

Simply, kite them and pop your Water Elemental on them. Remember that they cast blind , so always hold a greater distance from them incase the slowing effects disappear while you're blinded.

IF YOU GO TO THE RIGHT...
...and take the Wrathbone, you shall pull to the cliff (see image: ...BestPlaceRight) and blink back and forward, DONT JUMP IN THE WATER!

IF YOU GO TO THE LEFT...
...this is the easiest, just pull them back to the start, lots of space to kite on! Just don't jump into the Deathwhispers or into the water.

Also, if you get blinded when your water elemental is out, it'll go for it!

Just a word of warning though: whenever I use Mirror Image, the Necrolytes in the area come runing and rape me everytime. Not sure if it's just me but it's getting pretty annoying since they're nowhere near close enough for my images to aggro them >.<

You should pop Mirror Image when you got aggro on them, otherwise they can go on a random target. But you are correct, they will if you pop them in the beginning.

Last time I did this, I did it without glyph of eternal water. These guys take a good 3-4 minutes to kill each one. Anyone know the drop rate off these guys?

Armory says (1-2% Extremly low)

Sounds like that is a possible droprate, but every mob has the same.
