cant get out of DK starting zone untill you finish the quest. or i must be very mistaken. only thing i can come up with is a glitch that was around a long time ago

Summon via warlock? random dungeon? die in the random dungeon, spirit release, your now outside, leave group so you dont get ported back. its a good way of traveling for tanks thats lazy ;D since it goes fast to get a group.

Wouldn't it be quicker to dual box a level 20 using a trial account? Takes less than an hour to get to 20 (according to your numbers), and still doesn't cost money.

For those who are doubting the worth of this post, the christmas pets go for 1500-2000g around June.

The gifts sell for about 100-200g. So your talking about 100 - 200g an hour if your lucky /facepalm.

common sense? I did this but with my alts and dk's before I even did this. But I'm gonna save the pets and the holly after the event is over and the prices will go up. BECAUSE on my server, the pets are right now worth 50g, at most. So I advice to check yer AH prices before wasting time making dk- level it, go to org- take gifts - delete and repeat. BEcause well sure as hell not worth all that work on my server.

Yeah that's the problem right now it's getting flooded, but as Albedo said, they go for ALOT more around june when it's long over and everyone has forgotten about them.

So wait to sell them , maybe it's not DIRECT cash right now, but eventually you'll get alot for them.

This is pretty awesome, in the middle of the year those pets sell for 700-1000g a piece, actuelly this can be worth at least 4-5k, i only got characters over level 20+ (Not my bank though)

To answer everyone's quesiton. No, you can use a fresh DK. Even if you do get a summon, it won't work. You must complete the questline so I feel this isn't the most optimal way. Search your account, find level 20+ alts and do it. And if you really have the time, maybe level a new one to 20 and keep the items to sell in the summer.

Or...Buy them on the AH- since they're 200g tops..

I'd rather not waste time leveling a DK to 58 just for a 1/4 chance to get a pet I don't already have.

How POed would you be if you spent all that time to get the same pet twice?

*Also, the pets go for much cheaper around Christmas. Just stock up on them while they're still 200 each and then sell them for five times the price in summer.
