Max honor when 3.3.3 hits

Ok so we all know that honor rewards will be increased by 100% when 3.3.3 hits, and they will add random battleground rewarding at first 3.3k honor and then a bit less then that.

However, if you instead farm battlegrounds now and save your marks (in mailbox even) you will be able to turn each one mark in for 2k honor, meaning every WON battleground you do now will give you 6k honor when 3.3.3 hits (+ the honor it gives you right now.) and every lost battleground will give you an extra 2k (compared to the 621 it will give in 3.3.3).

So basicly if you have any char you want to gear for pvp, your best way is to play like hell right now and stack up your marks and turn them in for honor when 3.3.3 hits. (100 of each mark will give you 1.200.000 (6 * 100 * 2000) when 3.3.3 hits, and I think a full set costs about 300k honor, possibly a bit more, so if you farm 30 of each mark now that means you will have your full set when 3.3.3 hits!

Numbers come from:
100 of each mark, and there are 6 diffrent kinds of marks (WSG, AV, AB, EOTS, SOTA, Isle) so total 600 marks, each mark gives 2000 honor and 2000 * 600 = 1.200.000! (And its not a quest, it is a mark you buy that cost 1 of any mark and when you use the mark you gain 2k honor, similar to the one you can buy for 100 arenapoints or 30 stonekeepers shards / 9 wg marks (tho wg and stonekeepers shards are bind on account))

Additional clarification:
Win a BG now, get 3 marks and XXX honor. Turn 3 marks in and get 6xxx honor. (More then 6k honor)
Win a BG after patch, get 2*XXX(=1xxx) honor + (random battleground reward, first time 3.xk honor, secondtime (3.x/2)k honor. (Total 1xxx + 3.x = max 5k honor)
Lose a BG now, get 1 mark and XX honor, turn 1 mark in and get 2xxx honor. (More then 2k honor)
Lose a bg after patch, get 2*xx honor (+ 650 from loseing a random bg) (Total 2*xx honor + 650 = less then 2k honor)
You will earn more honor now then after the patch, even tho honor rewards are increased by 100%.


Also, the mounts currently cost 30 of 3 diffrent marks (wsg av and ab) - 90 marks in total. Turning in 90 marks will give you 90 * 2000 = 180.000 honor, meaning if you dont but the mount now but instead save them for patch you will be able to buy 3 mounts at the same amount of marks and still keep an other 30k honor!

I'm not sure I follow you 100% but, are you saying that turning in marks AFTER the patch will give more honor than if we were to turn them in now?

what I am saying is that if you compare the honor you get for farming battlegrounds now, with what they will be later - you will still get more now then after the patch if you turn your marks in after the patch instead of now!

I am not a big PVP fan so am not too familiar with what those numbers represent. I assume the 2000 is honor gained from turning in the quest, and you do it 100 times but what does the 6 stand for?

You will not get 2000 honor each. This is fault information. You will get about 300-500 honor each.

This will be changed for sure. It would be absolutely devastating if blizzard did not fix this amount because there are 6 battlegrounds around and this would mean that you could have 600 marks without having any in your mailbox which can hold another 900 marks easily (assumed you win 10 bgs a day which can be done).

So this would mean 1500 marks * 2000 honor = 3 million honor points. That would be 300 epic gems just for this one character. Getting all the marks of your twinks turned it would yield you even more.

If blizzard would get this to live the epic gem market would be really screwed. I don't think they are that stupid to be honest.

What quests are you talking about mate? I didn't mention any quests (And yes you are right, WG quests for example will reward the same amount of honor as they are now.)
