If you're horde you can run to the barrens spawn from Org in less than a minute.

Just went to Wetlands to check for the nest, found the rare spawn, killed him, but no nest nearby Oh well, better luck next time I guess

I re-started doing this now aswell, thanks for reminding me.

First time I started was around a week after they came out so I already was too late, still I parked 4 of my alts on the spots and made targetting macro's accordingly, it was only a matter of time before I had too many raptors to sell. I was selling them for 1000g's in the start and kept doing this until the prices of the raptors (due to other people farming/underbidding) dropped to around 80-100g each, which was not worth it for me. So I gave away about 10 raptors to friends and others.

Now after you reminded me I checked the auction house and there was only 1 raptor hatchling on it, I believe the razormaw one, so I decided 'hey, let's restart doing this' and so I re-placed my alts at the spots and since 2 days ago I have already netted about 15 raptors again, the Ravasaur Hatchling being the most rare one as I only found it once - the area is so huge where it spawns. But the other 3 I got about 3/4 each and have restarted selling them for 400g each, so far so good.

I love this farming and it's always a 'yay' in the mind when you see a nest containing the hatchling, I tend to log in on my 4 characters every 4 hours to see if the rare mob is there/the nest is there.

On a last note: If the rare mob is NOT there - this does NOT mean the nest cannot be there. I have found multiple nests while the mob wasn't spawned and found multiple rare mob without the nest being spawned, so don't let it get you down.

For Horde players that only have only character high enough to check these. You can still check 3 spawns in a rather small amount of time.

You start in Orgrimmar and run out of the side entrance. You check the spot in the barrens then proceed towards Crossroads when your done and take the flight patch down to Brackenwall village. Then check the area there in Dustwallow Marsh.

When your done there, hearth to Dalaran and then fly over to Sholazar basin. There is a portal somewhere on the east side of Sholazar(40,83) that ports you to Ungoro crater. Sorry I dont have the exact loc ill get it in my run today.

I checked all locations at 4am server time (only briefly) and managed to get myself 1 hatchling from the Wetlands which should be sold for around 350g soon. Going to put one of my chars at each location now

I have taken a break from doing this as I have just rerolled servers so do not have alts high enough to survive those areas / had the time to level and move them there.

If anyone could provide more screenshots and coordinates of all the locations I will be happy to give them some rep.
