3% gem is better correct.
However, your wrong because Lifetap is much better than immolate. Lifetap increases your spell power by a large margin. This inceases the dmg of ALL spells, including incinerate which you will be smaming and it makes up for 50%+ dmg.
As for roation..
Put up CoD, immolate, chaos bolt, conflag, incin till conflag is up, hit it, incin, wait till chaos is up, hit it. spam incin.. Refresh immolate, don't clip it like a noob.
The reason you do chaos bolt or incinerate before your first conflag is because there is a pause inbetween finishing immolate and the time you can actually use conflagrate.

Even if you have 0 lag you can't do Conflagration right after Immo.
Here what most warlocks I know do :
-Curse > Immo > Corr > Conflag ...
-Immo > Curse > Conflag ...
But if you are in a raid with another Destro lock his immo will help you cut this lag. I'm not sure Im understandable ^^ If another Immo is active, you can launch your Conflag just right after your Immo.
For curses, Elements > * for a destrolock. If you have an equivalent debuff in your raid then you should throw youre doom. If the fight will not last 1 more minute just drop your curse of your "rotation".
The Op linked a destro build with +hit talents, you should link a standard build without Suppression. w w w.wowhead.com/?talent#IZfb0h0hZVbGVdcuVsAfct
The 2 points in Improved Healthstone can be used somewhere else, just check with your locks mate.
For Gems you can use this yellow one too : Rigid King's Amber (+20 hit)
Curse->Immolate->Chaos->Conflag->Insi spam
Ye sorry I actually use that rotation too but most sites list them as Curse > Immolate > Coflag > Chaos > Incinerate, I have no idea why.
Never use corruption. Thats a loss of dps. Incinerate would be much better off for it does more dmg for its cast time than corruption does.
You're better off speccing into suppression rather than gemming hit, it's very silly to gem hit.
Oh, i forgot who said to gem straight haste, your dumb. Always use a reckless in yellow slots where its a good bonus. You never use Quick King's Amber.
2 points in improved health stone should go in Fel synergy so your pet doesnt die.
The problem with the spec w/o suppression is if your very geared, you gain 5% more threat and lose range on attacks. However, you do gain more mana and have to life tap less.
can u tell me abit about affliction ? i mean is it a good spec or??
I don't know actually, a warlock from my guild tryed affliction for some time and he did about the same dps as with destruction. Just pick what you like the most.
