I wanted to give some tips for the locks who are not sure what enchants and gems to pick and some other tips.
I'll start with gems.
Meta gem: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41285 Is probably your best bet. A nice amount of crit rating and 3% crit damage is a nice boost.
Red slot: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40113 Again, warlocks should stack a lot of spellpower.
Yellow slot: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40155 Haste is also a very useful stat for warlocks. Haste means shorter cast time and shorter global cooldown.
Blue slot: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40133 If you want to get the socket bonus this is your best bet. As warlocks do benefit from spirit from Fel Armor and the Life Tap glyph.
Always try to get the socket bonus if it's spellpower. If it's not better stack some http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40155 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40113.
Major Glyphs:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42453 As Incinerate is your main nuke spell, a 5% damage increase is a huge boost.
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45785 Each time you use life tap you 20% of your spirit as spellpower. Try and keep this buff up all the time with Life Tap rank 1. If you do so your dps will be boosted by a few hundred. Or you can use http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42464 Instead if you don't have so much spirit.
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42454 You no longer have to worry about your Immolate disappearing from your target when you use Conflagrate. You can use Conflagrate about 2 times per Immolate.
Minor Glyphs:
The only one I recommend is http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43390, because it simply makes farming soul shards a lot easier. You can choose yourself for the other slots.
Enchants:
-Head: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44159 Best and only choice, requires Revered with the Kirin Tor.
-Shoulder: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44135 Exalted with Sons of Hodir, OR [item]44129[/item] Requires Honored with Sons of Hodir.
-Chest: Depending on how much money you can spend either http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44465 OR http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38989
-Bracers: Depending on how much money you can spend either http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44470OR http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38997
-Hands: Only one choice really, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38979
-Belt: Not really an enchant but another gem slot: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41611
-Legs: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41602 OR http://www.wowhead.com/?item=41604 Depending if you want spirit or stamina.
-Feet: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38986 OR http://www.wowhead.com/?item=39006 Depending if you want run speed or crit/hit.
-Weapon: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38991 OR http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44467 Depending on the money you can spend.
-Rings: Rings can only be enchanted by Enchanters, enchant them with 23 spellpower ofcourse.
Talent Builds:
The most popular build atm is Destruction with this spec:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Demonology can also be a nice spec:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Or Affliction:
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
It's all your choice and the dps doesn't vary so much between each spec. Just play what you like the most I once had a demo warlock in the raid that put out even more dps than me in Destro and I asked him why he was Demo. He answered:
"It doesn't matter which spec you have, it does however matter how you play your spec and like it."
Rotations:
For Destruction it's really simple:
CoD OR CoE (Don't use it if there is a boomkin or unholy Dk in the raid, they provide a similair buff that doesn't stack) > Immolate > Chaos Bolt > Conflagrate > Incinerate till Conflagrate is up > Conflagrate > Immolate and so on.
Affliction:
Demonology:
Well the guide is almost done, if you have any questions at all or like to add anything please feel free to ask. I hope this guide is actually useful for anyone at all I just thought we warlocks could share some ideas and help eachother.
