Very good guide, but you made 1 mistake.. The mage doesn't cast fb rank 1 since it costs to much.. It's a waste of time!

You got IV and maybe Hyperspeed for fb's and other spells.. slow the enemy mostly with coc if you dont break cc with it.

They cast rank 1 because its a quick cast ^.^.

FB Rank 1 costs 14% base mana that means maybe 500 mana per cast.
FB Rank 1 slows your target for 5 secs (+3s from Permafrost).
FB Rank 16 causes 9 secs slow (+3s from Permafrost) which is better.
I've never seen a mage over 2.5k rating who casts rank 1 fb's lol.

back in the day before equalized snitzel- it was more mana prudent to just spam rank 1. the higher you go obviously you want the higher CC times and thus you're in better communication with your team mates regardless (experience etc.)

Only played some PvP in TBC and really grew tired of it, back in the days I were a Grand Marshal though... never tried in WotLk but thought it could be fun to do it with IRL friends.
