I know first hand that they do not ban by IP. I've had a ridiculous amount of accounts banned, some for stupid reasons and some for game breaking reasons. My "clean" accounts have never been banned.

yup, same goes with email. i have used the same email since my gilder acct got banned. but i guess it dosnt matter anymore cuz your forced to created a new email for a bnet.

yea but this applies to pretty much any gatherbot. and converting profiles is easy
