Posting to bump and thank ViB! This works really, really well and I suggest some of you try it! Was easy enough for me to do the changes, so I'm sure you can manage!

This is *Amazing*, thank you so much!

Here you go: World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> 3.3.0 - d3d9ex mode, ATI, and 134 crashes

And to quote "Datth" on the tech forums:
Summary: textureCacheSize no longer works. A gxTextureCacheSize now replaces it and its values are in MB (not bytes). You need to use it in conjunction with d3d9ex as that's our mode of managing texture memory.
Source: World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Texture Cache Size problem in 3.3?

    Hope this helps

I think those of us with lower-end computers will see more of an improvement than those of you with better computers.

Example: my average FPS in parties/raids is 20-30. An increase of 15 FPS would be 50% better and quite noticeable. For someone with an average of 80 FPS, increasing theirs by 15 would not be a huge change.

I would be willing to bet all of those saying they got a huge increase have lower end PCs, and those saying it was slight but barely noticeable had higher end PCs.

EDIT: Tested, works. This increased my FPS by about 10-15 FPS as I guessed, though my loading times don't seem greatly reduced. made Dalaran actually not painful on my crappy old machine. Thanks! Gonna post this on my guild website with credit.
