http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-guides/264784-easy-500-1000gold-plate-users-minutes.html - Killing this boss everyday, do so if you can, it takes like 20min and he drop 500-600g + 2 BoE epics as written in the guide. If that boss would be on an instant respawn timer I would make more than 2-3k/hour.
I strongly recommend you to read this greatful tip by Dignox.
(Don't just say this is common sense please, all guides are common sense, just that we don't think about it)
I've put up x2 gold guides in the elite section here at MMOwned, but none for those who don't contribute/purchase donator etc.
So I will write here how I personal make my cash.
What professions do I need to do this?
While leveling fishing I recommend you to go to Wailing Caverns and fish all the way until 450, throw away any fish but deviate fishes, if you get the recipe to cook them in cooking you can make a few thousands at 450.
Well, basicly you need:
Fishing - While leveling fishing I recommend you to go to Wailing Caverns and fish all the way until 450, throw away any fish but deviate fishes, if you get the recipe to cook them in cooking you can make a few thousands at 450.
Guides taken from WoW Professions | 1-450 WoW Profession Guides
Cooking
Mining
Herbalism (Optional)
Jewelcrafting
Enchanting (Optional, but recommend, you can't always find an enchanter for you to DE stuff)
Alchemy (On a few chars)
Inscription - How to make cash with this will be posted later.
First of we have mining, one of the pillars in my art of making cash.
Basicly I mine titanium/saronite in Wintergrasp, but as my shaman also have herbalism, I switch to track herbs when I know there's no veins there (You'll learn it by heart later on)
Of course I take the most obvious route as shown below. Use the herbs you get for alchemy which will be explained later on. NEVER Auction the frost lotus, you will regret it. Also, while Wintergrasp are going on, I recommend you to get First Lieutenant rank and then keep on farming, almost no-one else farm during WG and you want the rank to get extra honor+badges, with the honor you will buy epic gems which you craft & sell later on. 200g~ for 5min work is worth itAnd if you win WG, I recommend you while being over the zone with fire revenants (Down to the right, dark area of the map) to kill all 4 fire revenants for crystallized fire and turn into eternal.
I mine until I have full inventory which take me about 3 hours, what I do with the ore:
The titanium I usually sell raw, but as of the next patch notes there will be new items to craft which will require Titansteel Bar, therefore I use all titanium to create titansteel at the moment. If you don't bother with that you just sell it raw. (Thanks to Dignox for the Titansteel bar part)
The saronite I prospect, the blue gems I send to my alchemy chars, the green gems I keep. What to do with the green gems are not just some gibberish AH'ing (You could AH them if they go for a fair price, Chalcedony go for 20g each on my server, rest is around 1-2g), you use them to create different rings. As you mine you will see you get alot of eternals (Fire, Shadow, Water, Air and Earth).
I usually vendor the water as they are so damn low (2g each) but you could AH if they go for more.
Then for the green gems, what rings I make have to be (All except chalcedony as it's better for me to AH) I also disenchant those;
Bloodstone Band
Crystal Chalcedony Amulet
Crystal Citrine Necklace
Sun Rock Ring
Next we get to the blue gems, remember I sent those to my alchemy alts (I have 5, leveling my 6th atm)
I use all the blue gems to transmute into epic gems.
Ametrine
Dreadstone
Eye of Zul
King's Amber
Majestic Zircon
Cardinal Ruby
If you don't have JC you could sell those raw, but I strongly recommend you NOT to.
Basicly what I do with the gems are to craft them into epic gems (I.e. Cardinal Ruby -> Runed Cardinal Ruby
There are loads more gems to make, you just need to know what people like and not only 1 class use, for instance, Solid Majestic Zircon = 30stamina, almost everyone want it, PvP'ers may want extra HP, any tank love it. Agility, Hunters, rogues and feral druids love it, spell power, casters love it etc, you get it.
I do this on all my 5 alchemy chars per day (As you see some transmutes require eternals which you've used earlier, Ametrine require eternal shadow for instance, don't use the eternals on the rings and use them for this instead, this is better cash. OR just buy off AH (Eternal Shadow is 5g on my server)
Making profit with Jewelcrafting. Great site which you can use if you don't know what recipes to buy for Jewelcrafting to make profit.
With the eternals I have left over, I create rings which I disenchant, Shadowmight Ring.
What else could you do with epic gems? Well, I usually buy raw gems in AH/trade chat for a nice price, cut them and sell for higher, our Cardinal Rubies are usually around 170g at AH and Runed for around 190g, when I ask in trade to buy some I usually get a seller within 2-3 calls which want to sell them from 150g~ each.
Buy and sell, but remember to look up the prices on the Auction House before you buy.
Alchemy, I use alchemy to more than just transmuting gems, I usually buy frost lotus at the AH, one of my alchemy chars have Elixir Master and I strongly recommend you to have it on one of your characters. I also recommend you to have Transmutation Master on the rest of your chars for the transmutes, it's actually more compulsory than recommended
The main flasks I create are the ones used in raids, most should know it, but (of course) I will list them;
Flask of the Frost Wyrm - Casters love them
Flask of Stoneblood - Tanks favorite (including myself)
Flask of Endless Rage - Attack Power, all melee/hunters want it.
Flask of Pure Mojo - Help you with your mana regen if you have problem, though it's not the best flask to make nowadays as not too many have problems with their mana as a healer. But some still do, so shouldn't be a problem selling those.
That's basicly how I make cash, I don't really have any other way ^^ it's working perfect, the secret part about the JC is to buy really many recipes so you can create all those epic gems which people want, just don't buy retarded recipes for gems no-one will use.
A picture of my druid which have been my bankalt forever(leveling alchemy on him atm, tried Inscription and Blacksmithing before (didn't go well))
Forgot to add the section about fishing/cooking.
Basicly I fish in Dragonblight, Borean Tundra and Wintergrasp. I use the fish to cook different stuff which people use, but there's one fish I don't use Bonescale Snapper
Main dishes I make are as following:
Fish Feast - Used mainly in raids, raiding guilds need them like crazy.
Baked Manta Ray
Dragonfin Filet
Blackened Dragonfin
Cuttlesteak - Not used as much as before though still a nice dish to make.
Firecracker Salmon - Most people use fish feast, but there are still people which buy those cause' they don't have high enough cooking to put out a fish feast or use it for solo'ing/dungeons/pugs etc.
Spicy Fried Herring
Spicy Blue Nettlefish
Snapper Extreme I usually spend most of the fish on Fist Feast and spread out the rest on this stuff, but fish feast as Everyone wants it.
Enjoy! (I'm sorry if someone have already posted something like this, but I hope it haven't been posted already, sorry for my bad english, really tired today)
Please comment it too, want to hear your opinions, many have read it already, but not a single comment
And please ask questions, I will answer them all.
