[patch 3.3] Make raiding a tiny bit easier in Icecrown

Hi everyone,

My first post, I hope you enjoy it. No exploits or bots here, just some common sense that most people probably have forgotten by now.

Vrykul Bones can be found on any Vrykul in Icecrown and they are/will be very interesting because you can turn them in at the The Bone Witch, who is located at 32,43 ,and receive one of these 5 items

-Fate Rune of Baneful Intent Use: Increases all damage dealt by 5%. May only be used within Icecrown.
-Fate Rune of Nigh Invincibility Use: Decreases all damage taken by 5%. May only be used within Icecrown.
-Fate Rune of Unsurpassed Vigor Use: Heal 2% of your total health any time that you deal a critical hit with a melee or ranged weapon. May only be used within Icecrown.
-Fate Rune of Fleet Feet Use: Movement speed increased by 15%. May only be used within Icecrown.
-Fate Rune of Primal Energy Use: Regain 1% of your total mana any time that you deal a critical with a spell. Cannot fire more than once every 6 seconds. May only be used within Icecrown.


Note: The fate runes will last 30min. and stack with each other (as long as they are not the same type)

common sense. Thank you for the reminder, though. I also didn't realize they stack, so thank you for pointing that out.

One thing to keep in mind-- Icecrown isn't the same thing as Icecrown Citadel. Icecrown is a world zone, while Icecrown Citadel is an instanced dungeon, or instanced raid zone. These fate runes work great in Icecrown, but may or may not work in Icecrown Citadel. Let's just wait and see if they add it to the tooltip, I guess.

Let's hope so... my guess is that it will be usable for the first patch.

Does anyone know if Airy Pale Ale is usable in ulduar?

edit: just read that it isn't usable in ulduar... although some say it is... -_-

worked in ulduar 5 mans but not in the raid

Unless they have changed it in the last day or two, these will not work. Been copied to PTR on my warrior since the day this PTR went up. They do not work in the 5mans, and they did not work on the testing of the first IC boss.

Not saying this is wrong, they might have changed it. But it did not work when I was there.

I knew about the stones, but I didn't seem to connect the stones to raids. XD

Yep, unless the changed it very recently, these DO NOT work in ICC.
