Getting honor in AV if you are pugging.

It is important that you understand how AV actually works in order for this to work more effectively.(read underlined portion for the main point)

Now I'm a seasoned BGer and when pugging AV I would always run into problems where my team would go on defense and make a 30 min game of 800 honor(if we won, which only happened half the time). Rather than a race of 9 mins and 1000+ honor. I have used a lot of macros, all saying where people should go. Sadly that never worked well.... Until now.


WHAT YOU DO:

Make a macro telling people where to go like normal(your own strat is fine, i just made this one up) BUT add these two things at the beginning and end.(I'm horde, change it if you are Alliance obviously)

1-2 go north
3-5 Balinda/back cap or defend bunkers
6-7 SHB
8 IWB

Now you might think that it is just like every other macro, but it is NOT. This works the majority of the time. I have even gotten a perfect game with this macro with a complete PUG that thought they were in a premade.

You can not expect to win. I single handedly have gotten so much honor for myself and every person in the game and they werent even aware.

*VERY IMPORTANT* TIPS/EXPLANATION:

-The object of AV is to CAP the bunkers, it is important that you have people in every bunker until they cap. So bark orders, This is the main thing that all AV players must know.

-YOU MUST DO A JOB TOO. Every game I run straight to their base and cap their south tower.

-I get a lot of tells from people wanting to get into my premade I either don't respond or depending if the game is going well I tell them I lied its a pug, and usually they will say "omg you are so awesome!"

-Now remember it is a pug and depending on the amount of kids/bads you get can screw you over.

-If at any point your team is on defense and you have towers uncapped. /afk out and wait th 15 mins, the game will continue long past those 15 mins and you can get in a new better group. leaving those noobs all in that game.

-This does NOT guarentee a win, this makes sure you get 900-1800 honor every 9 minute game. The object of this macro is to have people GUARD the towers to avoid backcaps. The honor is in the bunkers, not kill the final boss.

-Everytime I get negative feedback saying its not a pug or a lot of spam I just reuse the macro. So that it is up at all times. And if a "pug" says STOP, all you say is people are whispering me to respam it.

WHY THIS WORKS:

Now if you spam a normal macro you get a at least 5 people who talk crap and make the game not serious and you end up getting in a fight with them and end up getting stuck in a 30 min game until all the resources are gone.

This messes with people's heads and actually scares them into not talking back etc.

Ohh so you havent tried it yet I see.

The difference is 1200 in 9 mins or 800 in 30 mins, not sure how that is fail. You would really have to be smart to understand what I am doing. You don't think it is much, but it is huge to anyone honor farming.

1200x6= 7200/hour
800x2-1600/hour(if you are lucky enough for that short of a game)

Yes, and it works fantastic. The more you actually know about AV more the more people will appriciate it.

Well let me tell you, before i first started doing it in my battlegroup most games were awful to be in.

The more that you spam this macro the more people that listen and learn how to play it correctly also causing more people to use this macro. I'm already known in my battlegroup, my games are basically becoming premades and people try when they say my name.

I must still add we do still lose, but we get 1000 honor every time we lose because we get bunkers capped.

The reason people don't work together is because no one takes charge. And when someone does people are not used to it so don't know how to follow his orders.

If people started taking charge more often, more people would work together.
