Was this feature added in a recent patch? If so, do you think there is a new slash command for it's functionality or maybe an API command that you could use with /script?

Failing that, is there a way to script you pressing a button, without an outside program?

I know it's a slim chance, but this would be neat. I might even consider switching to click to move if I could have one button that i press once to both targetlasttarget and loot.

    Still, nice find!
Sorry for posting twice but I forgot to answer this question. Unfortunately, blizzard realized that this would be too imba to automate tasks if they allowed it to be run in a macro. InteractTarget() is protected, so no go. But as I said, interact with mouseover should work well. No need for the /targetlasttarget macro. Finally, if you post 3 more times, you can rep :P

iirc, can't you do something like

    Bind interact to 0

    /click 0

    ?
    I know you can /click 1-9
Look at your post, now back to mine; Now back to your post, now back to mine. Sadly, it isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate content, it could look like mine. Look down, backup, where are you? You're scrolling through threads, reading the post your post could look like. What did you post? Back at mine; It's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again and the reply is now diamonds.

I just tested it, and you can actually enable Click to Move, then set the binding, then disable Click to Move and the binding will still work!

Also, you could make a macro to targetlasttarget and set it to, for example, the letter U. Then bind Interact with Target to Alt+U. That would be a quick way to loot, especially if you are mainly a keyboard player (like me) and hate switching back to the mouse just to loot (like me).

Yeah me too. Im a keyboard player which is why I mentioned the looting feature without the mouse. Thanks for sharing the "enable then disable click to move" I'm going to add it to the main post. Some people genuinely hate CTM... dont know why.

Sorry if this might seem like I'm bumping, but I tested what you said, it didnt work but I KNOW theres something I can put this to use with and make it overpowered. I just cant think what. Maybe a combination of a script command or another macro, but this really has potential. Do you think you could look into this please? Or if you know anyone that could? Someone with scripting knowledge. Thanks

EDIT: Thanks for merging it, didnt think of it. But you read it and you didnt respond to my question

You can use a slash command to click a button, but there are restrictions. You can only click a button by its in-game name, for example SecondActionButton1. These correspond to the buttons on your action bars in game. So, because of this restriction, you can only access a spell or macro that is assigned to another button and not game functions that you have to assign in the official keybinding page.

It IS great for linking macros together, though. For example, there is a macro that targets all rare spawns for spamming (before NPCScan was released) and it lists half of the mobs, then clicks another button with the second part of the macro.

Can you post in which way you used it please? E.g. if you used it for dualboxing/multiboxing, do you think you could post the macros so that I can add it to the main post please?

    Thanks :3
