This is a pretty nice guide, I like it
I mean, anyone who read patch notes can see it, so the prices of titanium will still increase a little now that the news is out, but this is BIG. Thanks, and +Rep

When these situations have historically occured, what type of returns have you all seen on investments? If I pickup 20 titansteel bars are 175g a pop right now, it's a large investment. I know it's a gamble, prices could bottom out in 3.3 and I'd be at a loss. Is it worth it?

I missed out on the titanium ore in 3.2 (I assumed the price had already increased), now I won't have to miss out on this.

    Thanks for this. +Rep

I can't remember the biggest profits, but before the Sunwell patch I gambled (never really got any big profit, but I like gambling) about 1.5k gold in adamantite, I mined it myself. I sold it for about 140% of it's original price, that's some profit anyway, even though it's not much. =)

The one problem I can see with this, is that unlike the titanium ore, most of these items are made from something else. Saronite bars, heavy Borean leather, etc.

Most of them aren't on any sort of cooldown, and the components for the items are relatively common. Especially the Borean leather.

Titanium was already rare, and difficult to make (I think alchemists could transmute something into it). I'm not sure if demand will increase enough to contend with the sheer amount of supply.

Now, the titansteel, ebonweave, and shadoweave are different stories.

You have a point there Rayden, the only objection I find is that this has worked several times before =)

That's exactly the shit I've been gathering ^^ got some leather and saronite of course, not bars yet, just the ore.

Either that, or they copied this guide Taikiooo.
Sorry for kinda necro-bumping, but it's important.
I've heard they will remove the CD on transmute Titansteel which will make it's price fall.

It's definitely not gonna hurt if you're a miner.. just hoard up.
I currently have 1600 saronite bars and 100 titansteel bars. Large profit inc! haha
