How to make a nice topic....

So how to make a nice guide that people aren't going to call useless or common sense?
    HOW TO MAKE A THREAD
    By: Soullinker

Making a nice topic is not as easy as it seems...it need allot of skill's to be both interesting easy to read and worthy of Mmowned.
No one knows how to make the perfect topic. And this guide will probably wont made you the best topic poster on the web,how ever i can point some tip's.

So what do you need to make a good topic...?
You may have that killer spot that nets you 10000 gold every hour and you wish to share it. But if you post it like a full retard.

There is a easy way to make you one step above the level of retard use proper language. It dosn't need to be perfect or with no typos, just put some work on it. Put things like "." "," or capital letters, don't allow you text to be a endless stream of word with no ending.
Doing this shows the people that you care to explain and make a nice topic so you can rise up in some users eye's some people may even give you rep for the work you put in.

Another good thing to do is add color to your text: this however may be a blade with 2 edges...Please don't use dark colors in you topic...as you see Mmowned have a dark/black background...puting dark text color makes it very hard to read... and if its long you eyes start to hurt. Use Text colors like yellow green avoid red Navy

Posting pic's when you need.Mostly if its a mining route or herbing or patrol of a mob...use paint make a nice pic's with the path arrows to explain if there something that you need to pay attention. You can post a link to some other site like Wowhead: Epic like your faction leader. on some item or map if a pic/map isn't needed.

WALL OF TEXT.... AVOID AT ALL COST. No one likes a long post with no blank spaces. When you have a new point just press that enter. You will avoid allot of flame on you topic.

Be polite to you readers, and the people that write stuff for you topic.Try to reason with them and be active if there is a some Questions about stuff in you guide.BUT don't be scared to defend your self some people just want to flame you.Say something wity or ignore them...most of the time they flame for something small, but don't fall on there level. If there is a good post telling you that something isn't right and how can you make it better take a point.

Well this is my guide its not uber or something big, most of the thing are common sense for me and for some other people, but seeing how many topic's are so poorly made i wished made a topic how to make a good topic.I am not so good my self too, some people of my thread's and know that they are not as i wrote hear and are sloppy some time however i do make some nice ones from time to time.I really thing that we can make Mmowned better if we start using some basics in making a thread.

Please fell free to post other things i didn't typed about.

    Grats.
You know you can spend some time and type what do you like to see in threads and help making the forum a better place, why don't you just tell me where i fail and not be just like "YOU FAIL.GZ" . I wrote that i am not a expert so fell free to post something helpful and useful. After all you had such high rep and all...dont you wish the forum was better and care a bit more?

To be honest, a lot of the information you give is very common in here.
And sorry if I insult you, but your text is not a good example for a nice topic.
Just an example, you use zero (0) headlines.
You are talking about coloring text, then why are you not doing that?

Tell me if I am wrong.

Besides wrong section, it's also a repost.

And there are a few others.

I think you are wrong about most in this thread, changing colors can be good for highlighting important stuff. Also the red and Navy you listed is pretty hard to read.

Also it is a repost and it is NOT even comparable to ßetray's guide which is really nice

When you can't make a decent topic about "How to make a nice topic", it's kind of hard to ignore.

Also, since it's a repost (as stated), I have little to no sympathy besides that which can be contributed to the search feature not working fully.
