Faction-Change Tips

So as you can see from the other thread by Hefty, Blizzard has just released Faction-Changes.

Before you hop right on the Faction Train there are a few things you might want to remember. Here are a few:

- Make sure you have transfered all the gold you want to take to the character you are changing. (Up to 20k but you can also craft things such as choppers if you want to essentially bring a lot more.)

- Check your AH prices for certain goods. Say as alliance you can get Icethorn for 12g a stack and on horde it goes for 25g a stack you could make some great profit.

- Make sure to pick up any items easily found on your faction (Alliance - White Kitten Carrier, Horde- Black Kitten Carrier and essentially any other faction specific mini pets)

- If you PvP make sure you find out which Race is best for you in PvP (Human for alliance)

- Make sure any heirlooms you want on the other faction are on the character you switch.

- For any questions regarding changes to certain faction mounts etc. look at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...ange/index.xml (Thanks Kubiatsu)

- For Fun log out on a faction specific mount and then do the faction change. When you log in on the other faction you will still be on that mount.

- Make sure you let people know what you are doing ahead of time especially if you are an officer or higher in your guild

How does that workout then? I mean, as you stated above - if you have an alliance chopper, will it transform to a horde chopper when you buy that faction change? And how will it be with items from ToC? Will you loose everything or..?

Oh wow i forgot they switch to the other factions equivilent.

I have a little tip I guess. I am switching from horde to alliance, so i decided to fish up Old Crafty before I switched. When you do switch, you still have Old Crafty (it doesn't switch to its equivilant Ironjaw), so you don't have to sneak back into Orgrimmar after to complete this. Also, it's one half of the Fishing Diplomat comleted as well

I changed over my druid who was just sitting on horde, because I play alliance so I finally brought him over and I like the faction equivelent mounts and gear.

Blizzard is seriously overpricing all this stuff i mean 25€ (i don't know about USD) for simple faction change in game...
