From my personal experience, Thunderstorm is far better than Typhoon. Typhoon + slowfall gives you around the same speed as your 100% mount would do, while Thunderstorm gives higher speed than rocket boots.

Edit: +3 rep. Oh and btw, there are 2 ranks for Thunderstorm (atleast thats what my 77 shaman has)

this is older than wow itself... only you have to do is jump from top of IF (you will need somekind of slowfall) to wetlands... no you dont need shaman or a dr00d -.- but you will need slowfall (priest or some potion)

Where was similar thing fin booty bay with DK pull(don't remember name) spell.
Gm gave warnings/bans for it

its called Death Grip and my friend was a n00b and was walking through Booty Bay when a DK dueled him, he did death grip and my friends alt went flying from booty bay to south shore i think it was... anyways he took screenshots of him flying for about 5-10 minutes it looks funny as anything!

Boomkinner, this havent worked till WotLK came out.. If you dont have thunderstorm, you would only make it to menethil harbour, but i made it over twice as long
