**PICTURE HEAVY***
A few of you have probably heard of the addon Quick Auctions and for you that havent heard of it: It's an addon that is extremley helpfull when dealing with many auctions on a daily base. I myself use this to handle glyph, gem and enchanting materials auctions.
The addon can be found here: Quick Auctions 2 : WoWInterface Downloads : Auction House
This post is a guide how you work with this addon to craft, post and sell your items. Some stuff is realy basic and is told by the addon it self as you will see in the images but I wanted stuff to be easy so I wrote text aswell.
Setting up Quick Auctions groups:
This handles a large amount of the functions in the addon. Here you decide what items you want Quick Auctions to work with and how long your auctions should last, undercut etc.
Type /qa config to open the following window:
First thing you should do here is uncheck Smart undercutting since that allows you to undercut with amount X of gold, silver or copper. You can choose to use default auction settings, I choose to work with the settings in each group instead.
After you have unchecked Smart undercutting press Item groups in the menu. Here is where you create and manage your diffrent kind of auction groups. Each group can have their own auction settings (undercut, fallback, time etc.) or use the default one. To add a group simply write the name for your group in the field and press enter. The click on your group in the menu.
Here is where you decide your settings for the auctions that the addon is gonna creat.
From the creator @ Wowinterface
Now you need to add items to your group.Post cap - How many of an item can be up at any one time (If you are undercut this number is reset)
Post time - How long to post an auction
Undercut - How much to undercut by
Bid percent - How much bid should be set to as a percentage of buyout
Threshold - Cap on how low an auction can go, if it'll be posted below the threshold price it won't be posted
Per auction - How many items to post per an auction
Fallback - If no other auctions are up, how much should it list an item for
Fallback cap - How high above the fallback an item can go, helps prevent posting a single Frostweave Cloth at 100g if someone sets it at an extraordinary pric
All items that you have in your inventory that isnt already in the group will be listed here. To add them simply click them. If you would like to remove items from the group just click the remove item just click it in the top then you get this view:
As it says on the picture just click an item to remove it.
Make a craft list with Quick Auctions:
Frome people I talked to this function seams to be a little more unused by alot of people but it's possible the best function the addon has in my opinion. When you have quick auctions installed you will have some extra buttons when you open AH and look at your auctions.
Cancel = Check all your auctions if they have been undercutted and cancels all that have.
Post = Post all items in a auction group in your inventory.
Summary = Brings upp the summary window as can be seen beneth.
Log = Shows log from posting/checking for undercut.
When you press summary you get the follwing window:
Then you press the button in the menu that is right for what you are going to sell/craft. For this example I pressed the Glyphs button. The first time you press the button there will just be a black background where I have alot of glyph names in the picture.
To get a list of items you need to press "Get Data" after you have choosed one of the buttons in the menu. When the scan is complete you will have items in the list and some numbers.
If you have items on the auction house you will get more numbers then if you dont. The numbers in the [] stand for how many items you have on the auction house/your post cap. Numbers in the () is equal to how many you have in the inventory and the ones behind that is the amount of auctions for that item on the auction house at the moment. To the right the lowest price is showned. The red X infront of an items means that you cant create that one with your professions. If is using the auction house on an alt that dosent have the profession its good to scan it with the character that have the profession to se what you are able to creat.
This list make's it easy to select what items to creat depending on AH price etc. To add an item to the craft queue simply double-click it and then press the amount you want to make and then hit enter. This has been done for Glyph of Blessing of Might at the screenshot. This data is shared between characters on the same acount so if you need to craft on another character you still can do the list on the character that has all the items and post at auction house.
When you open your profession window you will notice a new button on the top saying QA, click it and the following window opens:
Here you have your craft queue showing and the total amount of materials needed to craft all the items. The amount of items that is gonna be crafted is shown after the item. To craft the items simply click it in the list and your character starts making them.
When all items are done mail them to your alt/go to the auction house and just hit "post" under auctions and it starts posting. Then just check now and then with "cancle" if anyone has undercutted you.
