How to wipe city raids(tips and triks)

Okey, the best way to wipe a raid is to kill/CC the main tank (the one tanking the boss) To keep tank alive in a city raid is not a hard thing to do when is't onliny the boss attacking him. But if a dps player starts to nuke tank too it's realy hard and tank should die quit quick.

Other ways to wipe it is to CC main tank (cyclone, sheep, hex, mind control). Then the boss will bounce aront killing healers and dps. That should also wipe the raid.

One thing that i see many ppl do that realy dosen't help a thing is AoE. Like a mage running in and doing arcane explotion, he dosen kill anyone with that and it dosent make any good at all.

Aslo remember this: Many city raids are not orginized at all. The are just some ppl that wannt the bear mount. On my server we are about 10 guys how use to defend the horde citys and we always sucside. We just kill them 1 by 1 coz we are organized and play together.

I've never even thought of Mind Controlling the MT, I'm seriously going to try that next time I see a city raid. Thanks for the ideas.

If they aren't stupid they will use a druid tank. You can't Mind Control a druid 6):

Well if they use a druid tank you can still cyclone him and ofc kill him.

Well CC is good but i prefer to kill the tank. Becaus if you CC him he might just use trinket, and if you are unluckey you will be dead be4 you can cast a second CC xD

On my realm, (french realm) they always have two or three tank, and they are very organise with not 4-5 person in front of the door but more than 15 and all the rest killing the boss slowly...

we nuked all the bosses in alliance cities in seconds Ironforge being the hardest however i disagree AOE is definitely a useful tool. 5 warlocks rain of fire in a central location thats a huge chunk of damage factor i any single target attacks from others and the raids die. Alliance love to wipe on thrall on Shadowmoon us

Well then you have to kill all the 3 tanks xD or CC them.

And ofc it's hard to wipe a raid if they are skilled, orginized and good geared.

(And never run in with your PvP on, you should always have PvP turned off when you run in to the raid.)

MSing the tank really helps too, Mortal Strike a warrior ability that reduces the healing on the person with the debuff by 50%.

and a DK can put mark of blood on the tank, because the tank never realizes he has it and ends up healing the boss for a good amount

I didn't know Medallion was an optimal tanking trinket.

Its not, but when you go for a raid in a horde/alliance city many ppl use the medallion trinket.
