Easily wipe a raid on city bosses (Mage/Shaman)

If there is a raid on one of your cities bosses and you are a mage or shaman you can wipe the whole raid.

What you need to do:
Go to
Options>Interface>Combat>Select Target of Target
Now what this does is so you can see what a person is targeting.
Now what you need to do is type
/target thrall (or what the name is of your city's boss)
Now all you have to do is click the person that (Thrall) is targeting which is the main tank.
Once you do that, just cast Hex or Polymorph on the Main Tank and he will lose all aggro on thrall and thrall will just start killing all the casters and healers.

This makes it so much easier, because its really hard to find the main tank and the boss when there are about 40 people just attacking the boss.

I know this could happen, but I've personally done it before and it works. The boss starts killing other people quick and they might be to late to respond. On top of the fact that they aren't expecting there main tank to just be CC'ed.

My thoughts exactly, and I've seen raids wipe because of things way dumber then this before.

Even better; Druids.

Example:
You're doing AV... You're a druid... Hordes are attacking Vanndar (Yes ofc hordes!). You stay stealthed in Vanndars room waiting for them to attack.
When they attack you simply Cyclone the MT .

... this is like... mage 101 sorta stuff. In fact, this has been used so many times that It's like saying "WOW! ROGUES CAN BLIND A HEALER!" or "PRIESTS CAN FEAR BOMB the raid" or "Mages can BLizzard the raid" or "Hunter's can Scatter shot Healers" "Paladins can Stun Healers" "Rogues can Dismantle the MT".

If a raid wipes because the healers/dispellers/decurses aren't paying attention, chances are they aren't going to do well even if you don't interfere. Or you play on a server with horrible PuGs.

taunt = tank gets moved to top of aggro list, over everyone

I dont know what is with the flaming. That is kinda unique. I personally run in there just casting on my shaman and never once thought to hex. I like it. Good post man. Dont let them bring you down =)
