Halaa Battle Tokens - farming made easy (2 Mounts)! Doesn't require opposite fraction

Hi there,

forget about everything that you've read about farming for battle tokens in halaa. You don't need members of the opposite fraction for this.

Here is what you gotta do:

1. Find someone that plays a class that is able to kill himself with a skill (Warlocks Hellfire works best here but also paladins can do it if they use divine intervention for example)

2. Group up and go to Halaa

3. Take it over if your fraction doesn't hold it atm

4. The warlock takes all it's gear off

5. The warlock starts to use Hellfire until he/she is dead

6. Every member of the party gets a halaa battle token

just repeat this over and over until you have enough tokens to buy the 2 talbuk mounts that sell in halaa. For both mounts together you need 170 Battle Tokens & 35 Halaa Reseach Tokens.

Research Tokens are a bit harder to farm. You get them from turning in 10x Oshu'gun Crystal Powder in Halaa which drops from almost every mob in nagrand.

It has been posted that it gives tokens to yourself if you die as a warlock, dont recall it being posted for the whole group

Can you die from falling while in a group? Does that count?

Thought saw the lock one mention in a old long Halaa thread, but oh well. The Pally DI works but such a cooldown that there is a quicker way with help of another person (2 other friends makes it even quicker)

(as a party)
Pally, person 1, Person 2.

Person 2 (a healer works great here to keep aggro and self going as long as possible) grabs a creature nearby with a low level attack you don't want to kill or hurt it to much. Person 2 just lets it beat on him. Aim the creature away from the pally and other player.

Pally auto attacks the creature once with no weapons, again you don't want to damage or pull aggro on it..just get yourself into combat.

Pally and Person 1 duel, person 1 defeats pally. Since the pally is still in combat from hitting the creature before he will not regen any health at the end of the duel. Pop Seal of Martyr, hit creature = pally dies = tokens for all.

Spirit Rez, pally hit creature, pally lose duel, seal, die, token. After doing it a bit can get down to about 15-30 seconds between tokens.
Also doesn't matter if you hold Halaa at the time of this.


Though believe in 3.2 Martyr is being removed.
