Fishing Spots

Yeah I'm doing that myself sometimes, it's pretty much the same amount of casts, from the initial spot I've wrote in the guide you get like 99% casts of how many you should, barely 1% shallow water or no path. Anyhow, since I've seen nobody said anything about it I thought it's not useful, therefore haven't updated with the other place.

P.S.: Don't foget to use Elixir of Camouflage :P

Hey guys, so whilst trying to find new places to sit overnight and fish Lavascale Catfish I stumbled upon this location.

Fly into the left side of the waterfall, until you can move no further, fly up a little, then dismount.

You should now find your self on a shelf behind the waterfall.

Whats even better - if you face the wall (see pic) you can fish inside the rockface.



Drops:

Sharptooth - I filter this as junk with Karnicrap filter (Do not loot)
Blackbelly Mudfish - I filter this as Junk with Karnicrap filter (Do not loot)
Lavascale Catfish - 100-200g per stack
Volatile Water - 12-18g each

Have fun with this, it's not nice being in the open when fishing. :P

So here is a post I made in the Exploration thread. It shows how to get under the world as well as my favorite fishing spots. This is in Uldum as well as a SS of a spot in Twilight Highlands that I'm sure isn't as unknown as the spots in Uldum.

Well this is my share of a fishing spot I use... You must use XYZ or another sort of wallhack to be able to reach the spot. Oh well, without much jibber-jabber, here ya go:

Botting session lasted: 3 Hours 29 Minutes 38 Seconds
Bites: 896

Loots:

Around 100x Volatile Water
120x Albino Cavefish
260x Lavascale Catfish
Unknown Sharptooth (but 3x the amount of all the fish I caught, since it's a 50% fish from here)

Location: 77, 37 - Deepholm
Way to get there: Zat_XYZ (I used that)

Theres a stone (on which I'm standing) inside the wall which you must get through. Once inside, you can cast in the direction my char is facing, and the bobber won't land outside the wall. I've seen people quest here, do dailies, walk by, no one /w'd me about anything, you're untargetable, being behind the wall.
All in all it's a 9+ spot, would be 10 if you could reach it without XYZ.

Just thought I'd share it with you, some of you might like it.

[EDIT] When you're done, you can just Hearthstone out, or jump in the water and swim out under the wall, you can swim out freely.

Got an inland spot in Twilight Highlands. You'll catch Highland Guppy, Striped Lurkers mainly, aside from trash.



If you position yourself right(not very hard) you can fish into the terrain so there will be no visible line or bobber. You name might show through the water fall, though.

Fishing this way, the bobber is infront of you in that little pool, sometimes in the rock.
Being inside the waterfall you are nearly invisible to the outside.
Note: You will get cast didnt land in fishable water sometimes. Can be reduced depending on how youre angled etc.

I found a way under Vir'naal Dam in Uldum. You can catch Blackbelly Mudfish, Lavascale Catfish, Sharptooth, and Volatile Water here without you or your bobber being seen by other players.

Mad props on the spot under Vir'naal. It's great!

Could still be picked up by Hunters though for exploiting?

Also Thaloc, it is easy. Only takes me about a minute, every time I try. Just mount up and jump when the mount spawns, dismount, turn your view sideways and move up forward and up slightly till you slip through.

Hunters and Feral Druids (Cat Form) can see you on the minimap, with Track Humanoids (Cat Form) and dunno what's it called for Hunters. Anyways, that's why I always recommend using Elixir of Camouflage ( Elixir of Camouflage - Item - World of Warcraft ) in my guides.
