How much can I sell it for ?
It costs around 45g to make, you can basically sell it for whatever you want if the market isn't flooded. I've heard many stories of people buying these for THOUSANDS (best investment ever ?).
Just don't go much lower than 500g.

A refresher course on selling basics :
-Sell 1, so people will be more inclined to think this is a drop, instead of a crafted item
-Have an alt to post this item at insane prices so people will think yours is cheap
-Keep away from undercutting wars

Actually, you need to loot a Technique.

The drop rate is much higher than the 0,6% listed on wowhead; the reason of this is because only us scribes can loot it.

Also all of them are hostile to both Horde and Alliance, contrary to what wowhead says.

Once you loot the Technique... It's gold-making time !

Any final thoughts ?
Do this FAST. If you're a scribe, start farming the Technique NOW. You obviously know why.

Did you sell them on AH ?
I've found by experience that selling on /2 is not as profitable as auctioning.
Now I don't advertise anymore; I just post a couple overpriced 'decoy' tomes + a tome on the AH and it sells, much less tiresome (:

This works great, but I'd agree the trade channel makes it harder to sell them since people don't want to cough up money to turn into a wolf.
