Blizzard are probably wetting themselves with laughter at every server.

RAW Epic Gems:

Can be prospected from Titanium Ore - Titanium has now skyrocketed
Can be bought with Emblems of Heroism - A lot of people have a lot of these doing nothing.
Can be bought with Honour - With Wintergrasp about, who's not honour capped?
Alchemy Transmutations - To keep the Alchemists happy XD


The supply is VASTLY going to outstrip the Demand for raw epic gems (dont forget the exorbanent prices JC will charges for cutting the Epic Gems).

My advice is shift any ores you have now whilst the price is high. I bought Titanium for 30G a stack and sold it for 150G a stack (by playing stupid - "Why has the price gone up so much?" "Oh because I need to make XX amount of Titansteel").

I pretty much guarentee the price of Epic Gems will be stupidly low and then start to stabilize.
