[rogue] The sap game

Hi dear mmowned. I am ashamed to say that I have not made anything new in like six months :O.

Ok so: Today I am here to talk to you about my new (afaik) game called the sap game. For some of you it might be common sense, but for many it may not, please keep that in mind before posting =).

Today, I was in Arathi Basin, and i was very bored of the BG itself so I thought "How can I help my team in ways other than mindlessly killing people while entertaining myself?" so i came up with a great idea to keep 4-5 and up to 8 hordies busy today.

So what you do is: Go to any base that the opposing faction control. After that, Sap one, and run away, sap another, and run away, etc. Basically everyone near the sapped person will think "OMG ROGUE NOM NOM SQUISHY" So they will continually look for you. Today i was annoying 8 horde players at the same time, essentially making the BG into a 7 vs 14 game.

Also, this was way more fun than actually thinking about the battleground. Think of it as a guerrilla style wack-a-mole :P. Anyway, I hope this helps honor/Mark grinds slightly more amusing for you rogues out there.

Thats kinda funny because in the skill it says "Only 1 target may be sapped at a time" so idk how you could sap 7 people at the same time.

Think he means that he sapped one person, a few started looking for him, then he sapped another when the first sap broke and eventually alot of hordes was looking for the "#¤ rogue that kept sapping ppl.

I believe that he's inferring that you keep them occupied by randomly sapping around, so they're busy looking for you instead of fighting.

Distract is good for that too. When I see a big group heading my way, toss a Distract and they'll all whip around. It can help buy a moment or two.

Also, in the shower i thought about writing about distract and shadowstep to confuse the opponent even more :P

Yea, this is why i was doing it at the stables, but it can work anywhere really. Right after spawning run right back so they see you and THEN stealth. thy search for you all day

The better use for this is actually solo defending a flag as a rogue.

Your team assaults a flag and runs on to the next node. You stay behind as the sole defender. 3-5 people come up. You now have 30-40s to play D to hold the flag.

Run around and sap the person trying to recap/assault the flag. If you get popped out of stealth, Blind - CoS - Sprint - Vanish or w/e combo is needed.

Good point, i should have thought of that. Normally when I do that I just go and try to kill the guy :S.
