*THIS GUIDE REQUIRES A L55+ ON ANY REALM/FACTION ON YOUR ACCOUNT*

First things first, picture this: You want to start up an alt on another realm, you don't care for buying gold, or transferring a character for gold. Well, there's a very good way to make gold regardless of what characters you have on that realm.

1. Start up a Death Knight on the realm you choose to roll on. Get your epic mount and get out of there!

2. Head to The Exodar (Alliance) or Silvermoon City (Horde) depending on which faction you chose. Learn the Jewelcrafting profession, and Mining.

3. Now head to Elwynn Forest (Alliance) or Durotar (Horde). Copper is what you're after here. The best routes are below:

4. Depending on the realm you chose you'll either want to sell the Copper Ore (5-10g/stack) it's self or in some cases, you'll want to prospect all that Copper Ore. From doing this you'll receive Malachite (2g+ ea), Shadowgems (6g+ ea) and Tigerseye (4g+ ea).

5. Profit! twocents Time to hit up that Auction House! Send the gold to your fresh alt and enjoy!

It doesn't need a level 55 but it would be better because the monsters would kill a level one, he just needs to change the wording.

Because you can have no previous characters/gold on that realm you want to start on?

Not only that, which is true, but also the epic ground mount makes it amazing for getting a lot of ore quickly.

Ok but why only copper?For ally a better place for copper is sought of Exodar a Naga cave full of copper,same on the coast line. Lot more copper than Elwyn(overfarmed).

The route in Elwynn is the best I have tried, that is why I posted it.

you know that copper ore are really expensive on almost every server in EU, i dont know which you play on but in eu we dont have problems to sell it

Away too low priced, you can make far more gold by just killing the guys at the start field of death knight startplace, they drop hell lots of greens, blues, and runecloth.

The copper, yes on the prices (I'm EU too). The gems, not so much. If you were talking that much silver, you'd be closer.

Because all realms have the same economy right? Hence why I said in some cases it may be better.
