farmed there for a few hours and didn't get a single book. i think its a random world drop so it doesn't matter where you farm it since all high level mobs have equal drop rate

Edit: I'm not trying to bash you, but im just trying to save people from making stupid posts that are completely based around RNG/HEAVY server dependent factors. You got lucky, thats all there is to it. Beyond that you're just talking of selling a commonly needed item for a Prof.
