    Children's Week 2009

Blizzard Official Details: World of Warcraft-> Info -> Events -> Children's Week
    Beginning: May 1st - Saturday
    End:
    May 7th
Why the hell should I do this? I don't know about you, but the end reward of a 310% mount sounds good, in addition to the many minipets avaliable.

That means you have only 6 days to do this!! But fear not, this guide will allow you to complete most, if not all of it!

    9. Stand next to the big dragon.
    10. Head back to Shatt and complete.
    11. BC Children's Week COMPLETE.

    Both
For the Children: This is the achievement that's given once the others are completed, in order words, this is what you're aiming for.

Home Alone: Use your Hearthstone while your orphan is with you.
How to: Summon Orphan > Hearth > Done. You might want to do this in a cycle later on. Read on.

Daily Chores: Complete a daily quest every day for five consecutive days with your orphan out.
    How to: **HOTFIXED**
World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Childrens Week Achievement - Daily Chores

Simply complete 5 dailies when your orphan is out.

School of Hard Knocks: Take your orphan into the battlegrounds and complete the feats listed below.
How to: Another very annoying achievement this can also be a very hard one. Notice how it says, Return a flag in Warsong Gulch? It doesn't state that if we need to, or if we need to be in the vicinity, likewise with the rest, but aside from that, simple.
EDIT: This is now the HARDEST to complete and your 1ST priority!!

    Mini-Guide:
Warsong Gulch: When I did this myself, I waited near our own flag, and let the enemy grab it, once they did, some other people and I pounced him. I made sure my orphan was out, and when he was almost dead, pretty much moved in and spam clicked the area I predicted a flag would drop.
    3rd Hardest
Arathi BasinThis one's a bit annoying, not sure if you can catch a "new" flag, because I could never get there in time. I personally let a Horde take the flag, and then took it myself. I didn't attack the Horde, and made sure he a. Had an orphan out, b. Knew I was waiting for him.
Things like /wave and /thanks help a great deal. Easiest, but still hard...
Alterac Valley: This one is GAYED! You HAVE to join a fresh AV game, when you do, first thing make sure your orphan is out. When the gates open, head STRAIGHT for the 2nd or the 2 last towers, NEVER head for the first. An important note here, you can only get the credit if you cap an offensive tower, not defensive. - 2nd hardest
Eye of the Storm: This is the worst one, if you have crap latency, then you lose. It's very straightfoward... cap the flag, hand it in, MAKE SURE YOUR ORPHAN IS OUT!! No other tips D: 1st Hardest
Bad Example: Eat the sweets listed below while your orphan is watching.
How to: Lovely reference from Wowhead.
Aw, Isn't It Cute?: Obtain one of the Children's Week reward pets.
How to: There will be a quest chain that will be completable, and it will offer one of three new Northrend Pets, apparently they are Wolvar/Oracle pets. I'll finish this section off once it is out on live, this is because quest chains have not been confirmed yet.

Hail To The King, Baby: Defeat King Ymiron in Utgarde Pinnacle with your orphan out.
How to: Before you kill King Ymiron, pull out your orphan. Because it doesn't specify, I'm guessing it can be done on NORMAL mode.

Enjoy your soon-to-be titles! and thanks for reading!
Even thanking me with a reply is enough!

Once you completed ALL of the World Event Achievements, you can get a Violet Protodrake mount. Takes a year to do and a LOT of work!

Check out your Achievements -> World Events to see everything you need to do. You'll wet yourself..

Over a year, it's actually very easy.

The only hard bit is getting the mount at brewfest.

I think they will change the method to buy the mount back to the old version, meaning you can buy it for tokens :E

Otherwise it would be almost impossible for most people.

You need to get the mount again then, also, does anyone know if we can do the old orphan quests for the pets? If so, I'll add the guide for them.

I dont care about this crap, but +Rep for making people look like idiots.
Wasting your time costs you $15, wasting 24 other peoples time costs $360. Raid right or dont raid at all.
