    [Guide] Avoid getting scammed.

    Hello MMOwned,
    I recently thought up a way to decrease your chances of getting scammed. Now this may be common sense but recently phishing emails have gotten very advanced, and even some of the less competent MMOwned members might fall for one. To combat this, simply use a different email for your WoW account as you do on forums, such as markeedragon or be imba, etc. By doing this, people who mass pull emails from WoW sites will get your non WoW email. You can then easily recognize scams because they will be sent to your WoW site email instead of account email. Again, this could be common sense but thats just my twocents

    Like I said, this is common sense but if people fall for it outside MMOwned, I'm pretty sure some of the less competent members will as well.

    First of I see your just wanting to contribute but.

    Use one email, which is your personal one. You only share with friends, banks, wow etc etc.

    Second use an email for other things.

    Third, if you do get an email to your legit email. Just right - click "view source code"

    and you should get an smtp server that looks like this if your EU

    Received: from eu-smtp02.blizzard.com ([80.239.172.105]) by SNT0-MC1-F29.Snt0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.3959);

    Done.
