Hello, this guide prompted me to go fish for it.

I got it finaly.

My Trials and Errors:

I spent a complete day, half of it fishing there (in the Frozen Sea) in the open. No Luck.

Then I did some research and found out that you can only fish it up from Pools.

The most important rule: DO NOT fish in any pool that contains the quest item for that days fishing daily.

I fished mine up in Scholazar Basin from a Nettlefish pool.

I fished this from a school of Manta rays, outside Howlingfjord. I had 225 fishing skill at the moment.

I got this mount at 230 fishing with no bait or anything. Second day of levelling fishing too :P
