Extra experience with RaF!

So, everyone has always told me that Recruit a friend bonuses only apply to characters in a group within 4 levels of each other. I just went to the support section of WoW's website and confirmed this, but noticed something. The 4 level difference applies to 3x exp IN GROUPS ONLY, NOT QUESTS.

Early yesterday I created a trial account and linked it to my main account.
Put character on auto-follow and started questing.

At the end of the night, my rogue was level 24 and my alt on the trial account was level 20 (his exp is capped and can no longer level).

I just did Tarren Mill quests at level 25 and, before turning them in and logging for the night, I decided to see if that 4 level difference was truly correct. I logged my alt back on, put him in group and summoned him to my location. I turned in the quests and BOOM 3X EXP FOR ALL QUESTS, even with a level gap greater than 4 levels.
Even after hitting level 26 with a level 20 alt, the RAF 3x exp bonus STILL applied to quests.

All Char connections of 3x is removed from that char when it hits 60, so for my belief no.

Yeah i did this with my char, did got a lvl 1 who i just summed to booty bay to my 46 warlock and i got like 15000xp for every quest.

I've tested it a while ago and I can confirm that this isn't working (gonna post some SCs later).

Your screenshot shows us that you've been 26 and your alt is 20. So you might have had quests which aren't grey for both sides.
The RAF-bonus for quests only applies if the turned in quest is green or higher for both RAF-participants.

Please delete this thread (and mabye some of the rep he got here - just to be fair).

did you summon the raf character, and partied with that character before the quest turn in? Other people have confirmed that this works...
