As i am sure you all know when you kill Sartharion with the 3 drakes Tenebron, Shadron, Vesperon, you will get a *rare* flying mount one for 10 man and one for 25 man version.

Black drake (10 man): Reins of the Black Drake - Item - World of Warcraft
Twilight Drake (25 man): Reins of the Twilight Drake - Item - World of Warcraft

the guild i help run, like a lot of guilds have this boss on farm on the 10 and 25 man version. So what we have started doing is selling the mounts.

before a raid i will put up a messege in trade selling the mount from os 25 man, 5000g last reset we made 10,000g from selling the 10 and 25 man version for 5000g each.

we have 6 people waiting to get the mounts

2 things on this. 10 man maybe.... 25 man... probably not

1. i really doubt all 25 people in the guild have the mount, like 100% doubt it, so it will be hard to get 24 others to do a 3drake encounter and not roll on the mount.

2. 10 man.... maybee... i mean that means you would have to have 9 clutch solid players that are A+++ unless you are making that 10th(the buyer) have some type of qualification for coming to your raid. Its not like the ZA mount, this one actually takes some skill.

to answer ur questions,

ur right not everyone does have the 25 man mount, but then no one complains due to we look after the guildies such as we sell enchnating mats at a 70% mock down of the ah and such.

yes on the 25 man and the 10 man, the 25th and 10th man is the buyer and yes its a lot harder on the 10 man, but very doable.

no to the qualification, we do get them on our vent explain the fight whats going to happen so on. the key is make them a dps, do not give them a key role that way they do not effect the outcome that much, as everyone else has the best gear in game on, you dont lose a lot of dps if the buyer dies.

i got to admit the inspiration came from standing in orgi looking at ony head on the pole, made me think when we used to sell ony and nerfy heads to randoms and bing a gold light bulb dinged.

OS3D (10) can be 9manned, OS3D (25) can be 20manned, also Saku you can sell the Twilight Vanquisher title, guilds on my server bring like 2 people for achievement and 1 for the drake, 7kg for drake, 2kg for title.

we r selling the drake for 20k+ on my server...
everyone can have a ****ing chopper or mammot so the drake should be much more worth than 5k at your servers too ^_^

Basicly all those guilds who have downed OS 3 drakes on either 25 or 10 man, normaly has lots of gold in the bank

If a kill gives 20k to 20 members, everyone walks away with 1k gold each.
I'd say thats a pretty good amount just for killing a drake,

we have been selling those mounts/title for 10k a week
who cares about a ****ing ugly looking mount anyway?

5k is so cheap for the mount lawl.... We used to sell bear mounts for 5k and 10k when there were only a few resets left

jus explained this to my guild.they went to OS, got the thing, gave me 1k for suggesting it and im level 21 lol
