How to make smiley's ingame

I dont know if this is a repost, if so plz fire away.:wave:

Yesterday i was playing in Arathi Basin when i saw someone type in /bg some badass smiley's and i couldnt resist asking how he does it.
The smiley's look kind of like msn smileys but quied smaller and more simple, but still it were smileys and not a : ) text thing.

So here it is how..

Its a addon called Wow Dings (click).

For other people to see your smiley's they DON'T need the addon!

WoW Dings allows you to add funny symbols into your chat messages such as smilies, arrows, hearts etc. Just type the code corresponding to the symbol you want in your message, it will be automatically replaced. For example, will be replaced by ?, (l) will become ? and so on. Of course, other players do not need the addon to see the symbols you insert.

Doesn't work for /say, /yell and /raidwarning messages.

Type /wd to display the list of available symbols.

Its not a rule on the forums, if you want to release information about yourself, whether in game or RL, you are free to do so. Blurring your name out is just an option to people who don't want to get banned / get in legal trouble when posting things that can crash the servers / alter the database / give you an extremely unfair advantage ( Mage soloing naxx 25 for example ).
