Hey there, so I stumbled over something some of you might not know:
(searched for following keywords: gametime | free | temporary | days | week | WoW;
tested on the EU realm "Zirkel des Cenarius")
When you log in having some gametime left and then run out of gametime you can still keep on playing until you have to log in!
It seems like WoW let's you keep on playing till you log out, you can even change your character, if you want.
So... that means you can play up to one week for free (because of the auto-logout at the weekly server maintenances at Wednesday).
I didn't test it for that long but it worked for about 6 1/2 more hours than I payed for
(my gametime officially ended at 25th Februar 09, 16:41 CET but I was able to play till 23:12, which is the time I logged out by my own).
Okay, this might only be interesting for people who let their PC running for all the day, which can be quite power-consuming.
The things you have to watch for, summarized:
- Never disconnect from the server.
- Keep your PC entering commands (or you will be disconnected from the server) to keep you character active, e.g. by using a fishbot.
- Don't let WoW crash.
Edit: You'll get proves in 2 months... :>
(excuse my bad English, I've never learnt English)
