Making money while farming Stratholme

Introduction

For this guide you should be an AOE class. Preferably Paladin. But warlocks and or mages will also do the trick. You do not need the backdoor key either.



The Guide

Here is a map of Stratholme and the route I took:


You should round up as many mobs as you possibly can and burn them down. And take on the bosses alone. The real money here is the trash mobs however.
On one run I made the following:

- 128g purely from drops. ( gold )
- 528 runecloth. ( These sells for 5g per stack on my server. )
- 9 Righteous Orb. ( These sells for 35g per on my server. Used in the Crusader Enchant. )
Different blues: 60g from vendors. ( didn't dissenchant. Would be alot more if I would have dissenchanted them. )

I was able to solo this instance as a 80 tank paladin with 28k HP unbuffed.
The total run took me about an hour. And made me around 480g.
If I had dissenchanting however. The total profit would be higher.

ok, im going to pick up ench. This is godly. it willl get me my epic mount.

easy, i ran there with my blood DK, used XYZ to run to Bosses, got mount after 20runs, earned 30g per Bossrun, 30x20 = 600g, only for killing bosses, running with XYZ only took 1 minute, killing took 2... 3min = 30g/run. That is A good Profit IMO

Comet = get an argent dawn commision, equip it, get the corruptors scourgestone off the bosses. . . Like 3k argent dawn rep an HOUR.

if you are an enchanter and also able to enchant crusader, diss some blues (or sell them and buy the shards from the ah =P) , make crusader-scrolls and sell them , i usually get about ~100g for one =P
orbs were sold at ~9g sometimes, shards are about 1 gold. so 60 - 80 gold extra per scroll gives nice extra profit ;D

Like the guide said. The actual money is in the trash. Not the bosses.

Probably. But it is going to take a little longer. Being you are only lvl 70. And a clothy.
