Good guide, but one question. There's been some debate about the red roses not being dropped in the vanilla WoW instances, and I haven't gotten a straight answer or anyone confirming that it has dropped for them this year. Is there anyone here who can confirm whether it's true or not?

Your "Nation of Adoration" explanation is long and doesn't cover the things you need to do.

All it should state is "Wear perfume/cologne, talk to a Citizen (NOT Guard) in Ironforge, give them a Love Token and in exchange recieve a Gift of Adoration. Repeat for Darnassus and Stormwind."

as you can see here What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been - Achievement - World of Warcraft the reward for all those achievementhunting is a violet proto-drake with 310% speed =).

For anyone still working on the meta achievement or Perma-Peddle, DO NOT destroy your Love Tokens and Cologne/Perfume just yet.

(This probably varies heavily from server to server) Many NPCs still show the hearts when you have Cologne/Perfume (the items are mailable, if you have some on alts) on you, though most of them sadly do not behave that way. But there are a few (at least on my server) that will still have the dialog to accept your Love Tokens. Out of 3 I found so far, one was bugged and only gave me the Adored debuff, but no Gift of Adoration. Of course, no NPCs will get new hearts, even the ones you could give the token, so there will be less and less possibilites over the next days. Get them while there are still some to find.
It's a kinda long shot and requires checking every possible NPC in the three respective cities of your faction (have fun in Stormwind) but it could get you that last bag of candy or even the Truesilver Shafted Arrow (which I'm still missing, that's why I investigated this)
