Buying Farming Items Cheaper.

This is maybe what some people call common sense but i've actually made money on this so i thought i'd share it.

What I usually do is go to a well known farming place, say one of the eternal fire farming places in Storm Peaks. On my server there's always like 1-2 who's farming there and dont want to lose their spot.

So i usually ask them if they have any in this case Eternal Fire to sell, they usually answer yes and I offer them to buy them like.. 10gold cheaper than AH, since they are to lazy to go to the AH or as I said dont want to lose their spot they usually agree and i'll just resell them on the AH for more money.

If there arent any farmers there I usually just stay and farm myself.


Havnt seen anyone post this and it may be common sense but I'm just trying to contribute.

It's common sense though, if everyone posted stuff on common sense then there would be no reason for a guides forum. This forum is here to explain somethings that aren't common sense. It's like me making a guide of all the neat tricks you can do while sitting (You can eat AND DRINK).

I gave you rep for it. It's really not a bad idea, I tend to buy off them in Storm Peaks, but I haven't thought of doing it for profit.

But there is another 100% better idea
It is to buy as many eternal earths you can but careful! do not buy 7g+ each!
and them find a friend which is an Jewelcrafter and let him craft Stoneguard Band's
and then find an enchanter to DE them and then sell the enchanting things much more than the eternal earths!!

This method does work, but rarely.. I tried this, and the guy just said if I can give him 10 miniutes to get another eternal for his gear.. tried this 5 times in different spots in WG and in storm peaks, only one guy sold me his for like 5g cheaper.. and thats only a 2g profit with the stupid AH fee.

I agree with Eski, that you wouldn't make too much money doing this, however I disagree with all these flamers saying "common sense". This isn't always common sense, each and every one of you that said common sense do not think exactly alike. You may not have even never been in a situation where your spot was taken and you said, hey, great idea here to myself, but um, I should ask the guy to sell me the stuff he's farming for less then go sell them for more at AH! And if it's such a bad idea why is it really "common sense". Common sense is a good thing. If it were a bad idea it would be "stupid idea GUY!"

So: Good idea even tho everyone seems to think it's common sense "after" the fact that they read it.

Damn, didnt think i'd get this much posts. And yeah I told you that's common sense in the first post, posting saying "LULZ COMMON SENSE NOT A GUIDE" wont help eh? It does work for me. There's a guy who always sells to me about 10g cheaper, and when i buy 20x eternals and sell them on AH its like... cba to count with the ah cut but lets say.. 180g or more profit, for doing almost nothing! If you got complaints i'd love to hear them but if your only going to post LOL COMMON SENSE I beg you to do it elsewhere.

enough common sense is genious im always trying to jip chinese farmers what i do is chill in the late hours and watch them bring down prices on their own never thought about doing it this way going to try it +rep for the idea
