When i first opened this thread i was like, Omg! All of this shit is common sense! BUt well tbh, the whole idea of having a level 6+ bank with nice equipment etc sure helps you. I for example had the same bank since TBC cam out (Just had to make a Belf) and without thinking of the whole "DontSpamMeUChinese!-Addons" thats out there I even dinged level 6 (Mostly because I've been doing about all events qich sometimes means quest, or maybe go a place i haven't been before wich makes me ding.

And also, when i made my bank I wanted to make it an "RP-char-like-bank" so i got Tuxedo, Green and Red Santa Costume, Love is in the Air dress from last year, Brewfest Goggles, Brewfest keg etc etc. So whenever im having an "important" customer over (Someone that buys for 750g+) I usually set out my romantic picnic, a beer keg, take on my finest clothes etc, maybe equip my Broom ( Farmer's Broom - Item - World of Warcraft and then I of course try to get some prices at a reasonable price (Usually most people will of course bargain) And pretty much just talk a little with them first.

And also, a good way to get "known" on your server is, as the author of this thread says. Allways own the AH, the AH is your way to the heaven in this case. And what I also sometimes do is set out free beer etc for people. This way almost whenever I log onto my bank just to check my mail, and run to the AH, I get like 10 people asking me for some beer or asking me if I got some more Infinite Dust or Ore's at a reasonable price.

So, get some fancy looking gear. Show people that you actually have been working on this character and that its not some char that people will ignore once they see you run through Orgrimmar because they think you are about to make a Gold Spam advertise. And just a little extra, you should REALLY get to know the best Guild Leaders / Officer's on your server. Usually per day I make 1k from supplying some of the leading guilds with consumables. Both on Alliance AND Horde side. Thank god for Booty Bay AH
