Dungeon Running

The best spec at 80 to use while running people through dungeons is defiantly affliction. but you can go SL/Felguard. This technique can be used at dungeons ranging from 1-60 maybe through 70, haven't tried it yet.

Deep Affliction
Siphon Life/Felguard

Basically all you have to do is start with Demon Armor and run into the instance and spam Siphon Life on every target. Help to make a macro, or just Tab > SL. Then once you've aggroed around 40 try and pull off a Seed of Corruption on 2 targets. If you cannot (Knockdown/Kicks/Silence) Cast a Howl of Terror if not undead. If Undead just keep SL up on all targets until they die.

Boss


Clear all nearby trash before engaging the boss (Depending on dungeon level)
AFFLICTION
And kill them with this rotation - SB>Haunt>UA>Immolate>CoA>Corruption>Siphon Life>Drain Life Spam (This will keep you at top health if the target is below 60.
SL/FG
Send FG in>Immolate>Corruption>SL>Shadow bolt/Incinerate spam

Ya, in Stat (Old) i was able to take 60 guys at once and finish them off with one SoC

Ya, you dont have to, just enough to get into siphon life, then u can go demo

You do more dmg with affliction then Demo.
Yeah u have more sp when you have Demo spec.
But the damage u do is less.

Running people through instances isn't a DPS meter thing. Go Demo, gather all the mobs wit your VW and bring them back. Go metamorph and Fire Aura thing. I dont see why afflic is any better. You suffer more durability. Does not excuse how much effort was put into his "guide"

Thats true, i didnt think about demo form.
Thats a kinda nice spell.
I did the jenkings with that.
But if you gonna raid etc etc Affliction is the best one.
i didnt see that he was talking about running instances.

Affliction has no down time, siphon life keeps u at full and u can pull around 50 guys at once. Demo is slow compared to afflic.

Anyways, the spec is pretty solid, although I'm curious to know how much Immolate Aura ticks for.

Shadowflame is also a decent spell, due to being instacast. Its incredibly useful in low level instances to proc off one of your seeds on command, or to pop in quick aoe damage. Pretty much the only use it has...

As for me, Raid Affliction works fine, considering 1-3 seeds can wreck anything in strath, scholo, DM, etc.

The problem with demo is you have a great chance of dying and running out of food, with affliction once I have SL on around 30 targets im able to Life tap myself to full and kill them all with SoC/Shadowflame (thanks forgot to mention SF)
