I know some of the changes in the next patch are probably gonna make things cost a lot less (Like enchanting reagents, etc) But one item I have noticed thats going in on patch is:

Fish Feast: Fish Feast - Item - World of Warcraft

Whats so great about this you ask? Well, it is the new item that most raiding guilds will want stacked being that it gives the bigger ap/sp/stm buffs compared to great feast. So it will be a big to-do on patch day (Which is hopefully today.)

Whats needed to make Fish Feast:
2x Musselback Sculpin - Item - World of Warcraft
2x Glacial Salmon - Item - World of Warcraft
2x Nettlefish - Item - World of Warcraft
4x Northern Spices - Item - World of Warcraft

How to make gold off of it? Here is an easy to follow step-by-step process:

Step 1 - Download Nesox's MrFishit fishing bot program (Ive used it for a month now and it works great)

Step 2 - Set yourself up to fish in either Borean Tundra (For Musselback Sculpin), Grizzly Hills (For Glacial Salmon), or Scholozzar Basin (For Nettlefish).

Step 3 - Start auto-fishing! Pick a good place to fish away from any player traffic. You wont always fish that certain fish, but after a few hours youll get TONS!

Step 4 - Turn in fish to the AH. I typically sell them anywhere from 50-60g a stack and this is BEFORE patch. So imagine after patch... /PROFIT!

Normally a Fishbots mainly used to level fishing afk style. And the fish themselves used to level Cooking, or vendored. But now the biggest use of fish ingame after patch will be Fish Feast. So go nuts and enjoy~

Hmm how good is this on avoiding detection by blizzard? Wouldnt Warden pick this up eventually and get you perma-banned?

Fishbots have gotten me a temp suspension but not a perma. There is no way of knowing but it isn't really too risky.

And for the others, of course you can farm "anything" and sell it. But this is merely something thats EASY to farm and well sell VERY well. Personally I wasnt able to sell a lot of fish before now, as people didnt care for the fish recipes.

But now thisll be used by LOTS of people, and will bank lots of gold. Sorry if giving you detailed info on where to get the fish and which fish are going to sell better. I guess everyone just knows this stuff right away.

I'm surprised you only got a temp ban from fish botting, I know that the top guild on my server lost 5 of their top core raiders, including a main tank, for fish botting in Wailing Caverns, and they all got instant perma bans.

To my knowledge, only the warrior releveled a character and was back in full T6 3 weeks later.

I don't EVER suggest using a bot right after a patch because Blizzard can update WoW's warden or protection methods without telling you all the details. It's safest to wait a while and let the nubs do it so that you don't get your character hit in a ban-wave.
