    Multi-Box RAF

Recruit a Friend was a feature implemented by Blizzard, allowing you to recruit your friends to gain bonuses and leveling advantages. But don't you want to get all these advantages for yourself, well you can and I am going to show you how.

    RAF Leveling Bonus':

For every mob you kill you get triple the XP
For every quest you turn in you get triple the XP (So so overpowered)
For every 2 levels the recruited characters gains, you have the option to grant 1 level, total up to 29.

    Requirements:

Both of the linked accounts must be in the same party, in the same area and within 0-5 levels.

So basically you just recruit a new account using the recruit a friend feature in the account management, and your set and ready to go for this part. Although, Make sure the LAST Names on both accounts are the same, so you can transfer the 60's you get on the off accounts to your main account.

    Duel Boxing:

I use Auto Hot Key, which can be downloaded for free at AutoHotkey - Free Mouse and Keyboard Macro Program with Hotkeys and AutoText , which is a very easy and simple to use program.

Once downloaded and installed, the only thing left to do is a script. Luckly, I have found a really nice script at: [AutoHotKey] My full AutoHotKey script. - Software Tools - Dual-Boxing.com Community Forum , and basically once downloaded you just need to go to edit script in the menu of auto hot key, then just copy and paste everything you downloaded into there and save. Now you have your fully functional program that works with world of warcraft.

To get auto hot key going, first you need to open 2 world of warcraft windows and have them minimized, and have the script open. Now all you need to do is click reload script and everything will almost be set and ready to go.

    Macros:

Macros make the process go way smoother, and are basically needed if you want to be sucessful. I wont go in depth but here are some of the basic macros you will need: Macro's for New Multiboxers - A Quick Start Reference - Macros and Addons - Dual-Boxing.com Community Forum , the Big Button is the main one as you click that and your other account starts to follow you with Focus Target enabled. The second character will be moving via follow, so this will make him auto follow when clicked no matter what he is doing.

What I generally like to do is have the main character I play on just click his moves on the extra action bars added by the interface. While I press buttons on my key board of what moves I would like to do on my second character. Although, for my second character I only like to use 3-4 moves not to over complicate things generally 2-3 damaging moves and 1 move if that class can heal. You ALWAYS want your Main character you are playing to be a melee class and your secondary character to be a caster, as it makes the process much easier.

Now once you have all of this done, you will be set and ready to go. It is very odd to deal with at first, but you get used to it and it comes of pretty easy. The only real annoying thing is when you one of them dies. You level really fast so it does not matter I have gotten from 22-38 in one day doing this, using the paladin-druid combo.

Okay so if I chose to do this, I would play say, a Warrior as my main WoW (the one I see) and say, a Priest as the caster, which I will not see (to heal the warrior and cast stuff!)

I will use my mouse to click 12345667890-= and do my warrior skills.

I will use my keyboard to type 1234567890-= and do my priest skills, if using the example above.

They will move and work together, and fight as one in a party ?

Any way of switching between other bars (Shift+1 will only move the bar on the second char?) or do you keep it simple with one bar per character?

Yeah, They will work together, but if your going to click you need to have the moves not on the actually bar, like how you can add more bars on your interface. They need to be in the added ones, because if you want to click instead of control both with just keys then if you hit a key your warrior will attack with the priest, and most likely doing a move you dont want him to do unless you sync them. So basically, have 2 different set bars per character if your going to click, if your going to sync make sure you want them to both use the same right moves for each key.

Okay I understand. And after looking at the macros a little bit more on the link I understand. I just think it would suck to have to click all the moves for a Warrior. I would want to somehow sync them. Or use two casters instead and sync the moves as the exact same char and play like that. Seems easier to me.

Then I guess your main does all the looting so that you don't have to switch through WoW windows?

This is actually my guide, the over guide was a repost, but I reformatted it from the other site and never took credit for it.

People seem to think that this site isn't about information and is all about 'rep' on the internet.

Well it means nothing to me and shouldn't mean anything to you either.

    Nice guide.

and basically once downloaded you just need to go to edit script in the menu of auto hot key, then just copy and paste everything you downloaded into there and save. Now you have your fully functional program that works with world of warcraft.

    I dont get that..
