Equipment
A 'short' summary of the most applicable items for a Hunter twink. Some options (such as [Blood Elf Bandit Mask]) were not included as they are clearly the last resort. Also note that the order in which these items appear is important; the top items are the "best" in terms of being less time consuming or cheaper to acquire, not the best in absolute numbers. To make the choice somewhat easier, I have included the drop percentages for certain items as provided by Image:Icon-wowhead-22x22.pngWowhead.

Useful Buffs
* Power Word: Fortitude gives a minimum Stamina increase of 3. This can go up to 102 when cast by a level 70 Priest with Rank 2 Improved Power Word: Fortitude. To obtain the latter, it might be wise to have a [Sacred Candle] to give to whomever buffs you.
* Mark of the Wild gives a minimum Armor increase of 25. This can go up to 459, with an additional stats bonus of 18.9, and resistance bonus of 33.75 when cast by a Druid with Rank 5 Improved Mark of the Wild.
* [Rumsey Rum Black Label] gives 15 Stamina for 15 minutes. This buff stacks with other buffs in this list.
* [Elixir of Lesser Agility] gives 8 Agility for 1 hour.
* [Elixir of Defense] gives 150 Armor for 1 hour. Guardian Elixir.
* [Scroll of Stamina], [Scroll of Spirit], [Scroll of Agility] and [Scroll of Protection II] are also useful, and can be used, but are obviously not the best choice. Their availability makes them a very good alternative.
Talent Builds
* DPS Build 2/5/3
Build favored by many for obvious reasons. It offers additional Health, a 5% increase in ranged critical, and a 3% increase in damage versus humanoids (resulting in 6% when striking a critical). Since everything in WSG is considered humanoid (except for shapeshifted druids), this build provides a genuine advantage.
* Melee Build 0/2/8
Weird talent build I found, used by people who strangely prefer to melee with their Hunter twink.
* Stun Build 0/10/0
Straigth forward build, focusing on stunning an opponent, and using an increased crit chance as well as a tank pet to singlehandedly taking down any opponent in the battleground.
* Kite Build 0/0/10
This build is basically maximises annoyance. Your wing clip and immolation trap ticks have a 20 and 25% chance respectively to immobilize the target, making it optimal for taking down classes like warriors (who actually have a slow effect, unlike rogues) and for making life extremely difficult for any flag carrier attempting to escape.
Pets
Regardless whatever pet you may favor or end up choosing, they all can learn Great Stamina rank 3 and Natural Armor rank 3, providing you train them up to level 18.
Tank Pet
Boar : Favored, due to it’s increased Armor and HP, as well as it’s unique skill Charge. Make sure your Boar has the following skills :
* Charge rank 2
* Bite rank 3
* Gore rank 3
Note : This is the most obvious choice due to it’s tank capacities. Even if your hunter dies, your pet will most likely survive. This means you don’t have to spend mana or time summoning when you resurrect.
DPS Pet
These pets have an increased damage characteristic, and where mentioned a lower HP and/or Armor.
Wind Serpent : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Lightning Breath rank 2.
Cat : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Claw rank 3. Has lowered HP.
Raptor : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Claw rank 3. Has lowered HP, but increased Armor.
Ravager : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Gore rank 3. Has lowered HP, but increased Armor.
Allround Pet
These pets have no distinctive characteristic, but are worth using, due to their unique ability.
Dragonhawk : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Fire Breath rank 1.
Serpent : Can learn Bite rank 3 and Poison Spit rank 1.
Useful Macros
These Macros will be of some use to you in Battlegrounds or in World PvP.
Totem Killer
/petattack [target=Earthbind Totem]
/petattack [target=Searing Totem]
/petattack [target=Fire Nova Totem]
/petattack [target=Stoneskin Totem]
/petattack [target=Strength of Earth Totem]
This macro will make your pet kill an enemy Earthbind, Searing, Fire Nova, Stoneskin and Stregnth of Earth Totem in that order, if any. Tremor Totem isn't listed because only Warlocks use Fear effects and the Sleep and Charm effects are too scarce in the 10-19 bracket to be of any use. If your pet is Defensive, it will return to the target it was attacking.
Eagle Eye
#show
/cast !Eagle Eye
This simple Macro will allow you to chain cast Eagle Eye. This can be useful for;
* Seeing out of Line of Sight in Warsong Gulch.
* Spying on towns and cities.
* Having fun![]()
Note: This macro can't defy Eagle Eye's 50,000 yard range.
(more to come soon)
Tips & Hints
Useful information.
Notes and Remarks
* An additional 12 Dodge Rating gives a Dodge bonus of exactly 2% at level 19. This means that both [Arena Grand Master] and [Enchant Cloak - Dodge] each give a 2% bonus.
* It is possible to get to [Furbolg Medicine Pouch]. Simply have a Warlock summon you to Timbermaw Hold. Run into some mobs and die, then follow someone killing Deadwood Furbolgs in Felpaw Village until you reach honored.
o Incidentally, the same mothod can be used with Sporeggar to get the [Sporeggar Tabard] and the [Tiny Spore Bat] by killing Bog Lords. The [Glowcaps] used to buy these items can be purchased from the Auction House.
* Stock up on some [Magic Dust]. It can be VERY useful when trying to escape a pesky Warrior or Rogue.
* [Feathered Arrows] and [Exploding Shots] are reward from Neutral [35] Stealing Supplies. However, they are not BoP, and can be purchased on the Auction House. They are, however, extremeley rare.
Quest Information
* Alliance Crest [31] An Audience with the King : Last part of a 3 part quest chain rewards 12515-13765 raw experience (depending on the source), not including xp from mobs.
* Alliance Crest [30] The Night Watch : Last part of a 3 part quest chain rewards 6000 raw experience, not including xp from mobs.
* Alliance Crest [22D] The Defias Brotherhood : Last part of a 7 part quest chain rewards 8690 raw experience, not including xp from mobs.
* Neutral [21D] Deviate Eradication : This quest rewards 2500 raw experience, not including xp from mobs.
* Horde Crest [27D] Arugal Must Die : This quest rewards 3300 raw experience, not including xp from mobs.
* Horde Crest [22D] Leaders of the Fang : Last part of a 7 part quest chain rewards 6070 raw experience, not including xp from mobs.
Personal Advice
* You can certainly use a level 60-70 friend :
o when entering instances or doing quests. (This will significantly reduce the amount of experience you gain, and it should result in a lower death toll)
o to get the leg armor on your pants, get the Scourge enchants on your shoulders, or put the lesser arcanum on your headgear (if not BoP, you can do it with your own high level character)
* Always Log Out or Exit outside a City or Inn. This will lower the amount of rested xp your character accumulates, thus giving you more time to get your character properly twinked.
* Be nice to others. Don't go spamming claiming to be a twink, it's not amusing to other players, and it doesn't prove you know how to play (a twink).
* Updates are coming very soon; including useful battleground-macros, etc...
