Twink 19 Hunter Guide
By Valmilu
1. Builds
2. Gear
3. Races
1. A build is very important for a character, it might give them special abilities or improve existing ones. Although you may not think it, builds are VERY important for twinks at level 19, you only have 10 talent point too play with so you have too chose wisely. Some build that most hunters go with are below
Hunter Build
Marksmanship (Ranged)
5/5 Improved concussive shot
5/5 Lethal shot
OR
Survival (Melee)
Parry 5/5
Imp wing clip 5/5
OR
Hybrid (Ranged)
5/5 Improved concussive shot
3/3 Humanoid Slaying
2/5 Lethal shots or 2/5 Deflection
All of those are wise choices for hunters, I prefer the first one, it is great for crits and knocking out those pesky rogues or warriors. The second is for a twink that will be mainly flag carrying, it makes sure that wing clip is good and rogues and warriors have a harder time hitting you. The third is an interesting build, it is more ranged but can be melee as well.
2. Your gear is the most important aspect of twinking, people judge you not by your skill but by your gear! It’s a mentality you can’t have at 70 but that is perfectly justified at level 19. As a hunter you generally want high stamina and agility, be warned when buying items “of the Monkey” be sure to get 5 Stamina and 5 Agility ones! You don’t want 4 and 4. Also be aware of the fact that hunter can’t dual wield until level 20. This is a GENERAL guide for Hunter twink gear.

3. When you are choosing a Twink every little racial matters, it really doesn’t matter if you are pretty, it really doesn’t you are looking for raw dps and crits.
Horde have the options of being:
Troll
Blood Elf
Orc
Tauren
Alliance have the option of being:
Dwarf
Night Elf
Draenei
First we will deal with Horde, the races have a lot of different aspects too them. Traditionally Troll and Orc go solo, they are the ones out there on the field using there racials too increase there overall dps and speed of the attacks, Trolls also have +5 too bows making them the best horde bow race.. Tauren are flag carriers with the %5 increase of hp and warstomp they are amazing for carrying the flag back and forth. Blood elves are a team player, there AOE silence is great for running with the flag carrier and silencing the mage that trys to slow them down.
Next, Alliance, Dwarves are soloists they have the +Damage to guns and Stoneform, they are great for going out and soloing 5-6 normal players :P. Night elf are mainly for Defense their racial shadowmeld is excellent for ambushing people trying too get the flag in WSG. Draenei, are also good soloists with there HoT. I don’t have as much ally experience so, it’s really up too you (Anyone out there feel free to give me 400isghG on a PVP ally server to make a hunter twink hehe :P)
That’s it I did actually write this guide unlike most of my mmowned guides (Copy pasted but also credited) . It isn’t that long, but for a first time twinker it is really a great starting point, have fun twinking as long as you have fun it doesn’t matter if you can’t afford some enchants (I couldn’t afford +25 agility on my first hunter twink).
