How i made 1.8k gold in 1 day.

Well me being the lazy type person i was i figured i would try something. As most of you know the scourge invasion has given us mass amounts of void crystals. NO I AM NOT SUGGESTING SELL THEM! I HAVE 2 METHODS.
What i did was buy around 100 void crystals and then shatter them with chanting. If you do not have enchanting, fear not! Ask one of your guildies or close friends to shatter them for a tip. When they are all shattered each void crystal will turn into 2 large prismatic shards.

What i did was advertise in trade, on my server void crystals go for 8g-11g each and i bought a stack for 50g suprisingly.

I advertised

SELLING 100 LARGE PRISMATIC SHARDS 10G EACH 1K FOR ALL! PST

In about 20 minutes i had them all sold. I then proceeded to buy more void crystals and repeat the efforts.

Shortened version!

1. Buy void crystals if they are under 15g each (most 8g each) buy lots.
2. Get an enchanter to shatter them or shatter them youself into 2 large prismatic shards.
3. Advertise in trade SELLING LARGE PRISMATIC SHARDS 10G EACH! I haggled to about 950g every 100 or so.
4. Buy and repeat.




SECOND VERSION, TEST IF YOU HAVE MONEY ALREADY.

With Wotlk people are getting very antsy in waiting. They are thinking prices will plummet thus putting EVERYTHING at a low price. I have already done this. I bought void crystals, and kept half, shattered half into large prismatic shards and put them in my bank. Right now void crystals are going for 8g each, and they used to go for 40G EACH! Thats right, 40g each! Large prismatics are going for 10 each, and used to go for 19-24 each. Very big profit if you see what i mean. But rich level 80's will level up a death knight or even an alt. And they will want some cool enchants for their alt, so they will pay for them. That means that prices will most likely go back up , just like with BC and you can hold them off for a while and resell for a shitload more of gold.

If most of this is common sense i havent seen this because i bet most of the people here have not done this thus not profited. I Went from 1.2k to 3k today.

You've always been able to make some coin doing shatters. It's a reward for getting 375 enchanting, because damn near everyone doesn't want to work it that high. Expect this to dry up once wrath hits and it's easier to level over 400.

Actually like most expansions to any games economy goes to the crapper. Thats why if you want to see IF you can make a lot you could hoard on them and sell for triple the amount in wotlk.

wont work in my server... shards are going for 5g - 8g a peice and voids are 8g... not working for us in Emerald Dream lol but meh thanks for the info

Kinda common sense, but good money making technique depending on your current server prices on both of these items. Definitely am going to look into this!
