Figured I would make a thread about it.

The guide posted in the first post works fine. You can't use the zone select drop down menu, but the map marker and minimap markers work.

Log into WoW. Type /zg. Uncheck "enable". Check "Enable".

You will get some LUA errors but it works. Also, after updating cartographer Zygor's no longer appears as "out of date"

So pretty much turning it on and off will fix the minimap dot problem, with it following you around instead of staying in one place?

The actual 3.0.2 would be a lot better, but I believe there isn't much of a problem ^_^ I saw someone post on that thread on how to make the drop down menu work somewhat better.

The main problem is that it's not designed for the new outlands experience change .

Had it working like this fine just that it's of not much use untill we can get the updated version with the fastest way to go thru outlands quests

You have to scroll to the end of the section, switch to mini mode, hit the arrow for next step. Repeat until you are at the right section. It sucks, but at least it's a fix until we get the 3.0.2 version.

I did none of this and it is working 100% for me. Just turned on Out Of Date addons and shazam, working...
