MODEL EDITING: patching safely

I really don't know where to put this, I think its more of a guide. When you patch the 3.0.1 on live servers. for safekeeping remove all the Model edits you've done on the itemcache DB and the MPQ files, as whilst patching 2.4.3 previously some patches especially itemcache editing corrupted the data resulting in complete reinstallation required and re patching >.> and i don't want MMowned member to have to reinstall/repatch.

SO JUST A HEADS UP!!

Move your .MPQ edits and make a copy of your itemcache if you've edited it then repaste them back in once you've patched the WOTLK 3.0.1

Anyways, I thought this was common knowledge but it's good for those leecher who just DL the edits and install them, not bothering to read what to do when patches come around or whatever.

Thanks a lot... I knew this, but i always forget to disable them before i patch. Luckily this time i had a clean install backed up (which is a good idea btw people) and just restored that then patched.
