Question: I was reading through the RAF FAQ and it was saying that you don't receive triple XP bonus if there is a person in the group that the mobs are trivial to. So if you're doing it this way how are you able to still get triple XP?

Does this still work? I thought that for RAF to work you needed to be within 4 levels of the linked character.

That's for RAF to give you the experience and questing bonus, which is what is outlined in the guide - yes it still works with an 80 running you through.

Hi guys,

I just want to add a free RAF alternative guide that was produced by someone over dual-boxing.com.

I used it myself and got my 2 toons to 60 in 2.5 days (i am not hardcore and I took my time checking the AH, leveling skills etc.). Everything is ingame as this guide uses Tourguide addon (works like Zygor guide etc.).

I do recommend it as it is very very well done and straightforward. Kudos to Elba, the creator of this guide.

PS: even if it is not free, check Keyclone to dual-box: great software!

I RAF level. But me and my friends left our main server so the lvl 80 to run us through stuff is failing atm.



I wish there was an ingame interface add on guide for RAF quest leveling. I can't find an out of game PDF for RAF leveling.

Currently playing World of Altcraft myself... I have 11 lvl 60+ on my main account and 8 on my recruited... Only 3 are only 70... Only 1 is 80 >< lol.

I have played on 2 alliance servers... So I'm workin' on my horde guys atm... So shaman+mage it is... Shoulda did prot pally instead of mage. I heard you don't need instances if you go prot pally+mage. They can do it faster :P

I personally as alliance quest from 1-10, deadmines to 15, stocks to 25, SM to 40, ZF to 45, and scholo to 59. Got both to 59 in about 13 hours played time. Running them through on an 80 holy paladin.

sorry to bring this up again but I have a simple question in concerns to upgrading accounts and the transferring of toons. Does anyone know if you must have the child account upgraded to wotlk in order to transfer to the parent account which is already wotlk 'enabled'? So for instance I would only need to purchase vanilla wow + tbc keys for my raf toon and just transfer once I'm done levelling both to 60. Would this also work without tbc (other than not being able to grant the last level to the parent account)? Thanks.

Just wanted to add that the grant a level feature does work after 60. My main account referred the 1st account then the 2nd account. The 1st RAF account I made i upgraded to TBC when my rogue hit 60 with the mage i leveled him in BC content. I later then created another 2 toons and leveled them to 60 as well. On my main account I made a shaman leveled him to 8 then logged on my 2nd account the one without tbc access and granted him to 38 then logged on my 70 rogue to grant the shaman up to 60. If you use that method you can get the character you want on your main account with out paying the $25.
