This is built to be a single-stop source for preparing your main for WotLK. A lot of info about this has been posted already on various areas of the web, this post is ment to consolidate and enhance it. Even though a lot of this is rewritten and revisioned by me, I will not take full credit for it. Hope you enjoy!

[I. Titles]
As most know, there are some titles that will not be available to you post-70. Available or not, the titles you should get are these:
Champion of the Naruu (TK Attunement)
Hand of A'dal (BT/Hyjal Attunement)
of the Shattered Sun (SSO Exhalted + Quest)
[II. Wallet Building]
Every profession has another that goes hand in hand, it's just common sense no? 'Milling', as it's been called, will be going hand in hand with Inscription. Milling will require herbs to make all your pwnsauce inscriptions. Farm/buy herbs now, and wait for launch to make a good amount of gold.
You also may want to start stockpiling on said gold. When TBC launched, large sinkholes started hitting players funds, specifically that epic mount requirement. It is likely that several other holes will exist in WotLK, but this is just common sense.
[III. Alts]
I might be called crazy for this, BUT DON'T LEVEL ALTS NOW! Why? BoA items that increase your EXP gains and give you "slightly uber" effects for your leveling and the 60-70 EXP requirement nerf. Need I say more?
[IV. Marks and Honor]
It's relatively safe to assume that you can, and probably should stockpile on these. With all the new PvP gear coming out, you're most likely NOT going to want to grind these later. The chances of Blizzard revamping the way this system works is relatively small, and it might help to save up on Arena points as well.. though don't get your hopes up for a new season anytime soon.
[V. Death Knight and You]
So you want to roll a Death Knight? Well there's not a lot who don't but most i've met want to roll for DPS. Do us all a favor. Hit 80 and move into your tank spec. You'll get more groups this way, and will probably end up in a raiding guild instead of waiting in a box office breaking like line.
[VI. Early Achievement Preparation]
Here are some things you may want to get done so you have an easier time getting some achievements early in the expansion:
* Aquire Items
** Autographed Picture of Foror & Tigule (AV)
** Nat Pagle's Guide to Extreme Anglin' (AV)
** Vanity Pets (as many as possible)
** Guild Tabard
** All Bank Slots
* Skills
** Raise 4 weapon skills to 375
** Raise your secondary professions to 375
[VII. Closing Statement]
Other then this, you REALLY shouldn't have much to worry about. A lot of knowledge will be handed to you on a silver platter, but if not, post suggestions on what to add, what to edit or what to exclude in this guide below.
Hope I help even if only a tad bit.![]()
