Inscriptions Mass Milling

[The Maffyx]

Ok so milling is just like Jewelcrafting's Prospecting. It takes 5 herbs and gets 2-3 pigments and sometimes a few rare pigments. These are used to make inks which are used to make glyphs. This is a 1-360 guide for inscriptions.


These are the pigments that come from certain herbs:

● Alabaster Pigment: Bloodthistle, Peacebloom, Silverleaf, Earthroot, Mageroyal
● Dusky Pigment: Briarthorn, Swiftthistle, Bruiseweed, Stranglekelp
● Golden Pigment: Wild Steelbloom, Grave Moss, Kingsblood, Liferoot
● Emerald Pigment: Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, Khadgar's Whiskers, Wintersbite
● Violet Pigment: Firebloom, Purple Lotus, Arthas' Tears, Sungrass, Blindweed, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood
● Silvery Pigment: Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Mountain Silversage, Plaguebloom, Icecap
● Nether Pigment: Dreaming Glory, Felweed, Flame Cap, Mana Thistle, Netherbloom, Nightmare Vine, Ragveil, Terocone, Ancient Lichen


There is an easy way to mill these if you buy them in bulk.

Make sure you have the herbs all in stacks of 5 if they aren't this will not work.

A good thing to use with this and go AFK and do something is to get this ( Download ). This is very easy to set up and self explanitory somewhat.

If you need help here is how to set it up:

1. Install the Demo
2. Open the Demo
3. Choose Axife Mouse Recorder - The first option
4. When it opens go to View>Options>Hotkeys
5. Select the action type : Start or Stop Recording
6. Click under the Key Combination and hit something like F5 or F6 and hit Add
7. Do steps 5-6 but instead of Start or Stop Recording select Start or Stop Playing
8. Ok now this is ready to go

To use it to mass mill herbs:

1. Open the Axife Mouse Recorder Demo
2. Put a milling macro on a toolbar
3. Turn Auto-Loot ON (Interface>Controls>Auto Loot Corpse)
4. Click on the WoW window to select focus
5. Hit your start/stop recording hotkey
6. Click on your milling macro and let it auto loot, and wait a few seconds
7. Hit your start/stop recording hotkey again
8. Then hit your start/stop play button
9. This should be working and you should be mass milling!


Make a new macro and put:
/cast Milling
/use <herb>

Actually, I did think of this earlier (But i'm not in the beta so well....:P)


Got a fast and simple program for it aswell.
Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting
Put the desired macro on actionbar slot 1.
Start the program.
Press 'Home' to start, 'Delete' to stop.

do you play on the beta or do you have your own WOTLK Private Server that you did this on. i have my own and im having problems on my server getting inscription.
