Just to add to this idea some...
If you can kill both Timmy the Cruel and the last boss in addition to the archivist. Timmy has a VERY good chance to drop a 1 handed mace (vendors for 5g), and the last boss has a chance to drop THREE weapons, two of which are on separate drop tables (ie. they can both drop at once) each with a vendor value of 5-6.5g. If you manage to get both the Timmy weapon and two off the last boss it's an extra 15g or so.
Another thing to mention is that you only need to clear about 20 mobs in order to trigger the Archivist to drop an orb (he either has a 0% or 90% chance to drop it, this was put in when his orb drop chance was uped to prevent stealth runs). This is only really important if you're stealthing the place, but if you are you just need to clear the courtyard and the hallway immediately prior to the Archivist.
I typically clear the courtyard, and then the last two hallways. The first hallway has a lot of mobs in it, and can easily be skipped without hurting your orb drop chance that much.
I have NO issues with any of the mobs, or with stealthing past the undead as a 70 rogue. I use my pvp spec (20/0/41), but I use full PvE gear (late T5 gear), and have no issues.

If you're stealthing the place it's much faster to only clear what's required to cause the archivist to drop an orb, then stealth out and reset. You might get 2-4 orbs in your hour long clear of the place, but I'll get at least 1 every 15 minutes.
The archivist (boss immediately before the last one) has something like a 90% drop chance of an orb, but only if you kill about 20 mobs in the zone before killing him.
but you only get to reset 5 times in 1 hour or 2 i think, more chance of soloing that whole part and all the runecloth and random blues and so on makes this 200g.
but as i was saying kill more of these = more profit
kill monsters = more loot ZOMG :O
i understand how rogues can stealth it as i was playing on a rogue but its pointless gettin 1 orb a run and like 1 stack of runecloth see my point now?
i tried that first before i tried soloing all the mobs and realised its more money to kill all and more fun as i like pretbc instances =]
Didnt mean to sound harsh btw marroc but i was at work and my boss sometimes checks what im doing and going on here is a no no so i try to make it not obvious :P

15 minutes a run * 5 resets = 1 hour 15 minute time to complete. It can be done infinitely since by the time you go to do the 6th reset your first reset timer should be finished. I also almost always get 2 orbs a run (one from the archivist and one from a mob), so 2 orbs every 15 minutes beats out even the best case of 6 an hour doing it the other way.
Didn't mean to invalidate the strategy as it's an excellent one, but simply meant to expand on it that rogues (and druids) can make it more efficient.
